i think mixing the pravana violet with the pastel you applied would give you more of the color you were expecting! 💜

i definitely see hints of lavender but it’s more silver. would you use purple shampoo (something like fanola) to maintain that? also i love your son 🐈 more appearances of him! 🐾
When I used Pretty in Pink, it grabbed unevenly, but after about 3 shampoos, it looked fabulous! However, I got the Shrine Drop It Rose Toner and that has my heart currently. There's a lavender toner, too! Would love to see you try them. 💛

I just did a technique that I saw on UA-cam years ago, I think it was by Life of Hair, where you part your hair a certain way and put it in 7 ponytails, and just bleach the ponytails, it turned out absolutely gorgeous! Like a blended root balayage style. I love it! Maybe if you didn't want to do full root you could try that 🥰

This video has inspired me to buy another tube of Pravana Vivids Violet. I used it before and loved it, but I’ve been so indecisive about me hair colour lately.
I had this same effect happen recently with the lilac glow from Strawberry Leppard
I miss having purple hair! I used Pravana violet two years ago it the color was stunning, I was obsessed. I wanted to keep my hair purple but I was too impatient so I've done a whole bunch of other colors since then. I'm thinking of getting my hair bleached platinum when I travel overseas to visit family and just dye it purple myself when I get back home. Wanted to get my hair done anyway and you've inspired me to go back to purple when I do. Last time I got my hair done and asked for lavender it turned out similarly, it was silvery instead, so since then I've learned to just stick to purple and let it fade and pravana violet is just the perfect tone for it.

100% agree with you about highlights. I kind of regret getting blonde that was SO dimensional through highlights + balayage bc it means that the upkeep is unreal in how expensive it is. Like 600 minimum where I live. Its pretty but it means you cant ever do a root touch up at home without risking a lot of hair falling out. Yeah the growout is 'less harsh' but you still have to get your roots done / dark hair weaved out. Now that I'm broke and want to be fully blonde again and I have as much roots as you I'm scared of doing it at home but don't wanna spend 800$ 😭
I mixed pravana violet and iroiro purple because one is a bit red based and one is a bit blue based and diluted it for a lighter shade and they made the prettiest lavender color and fade to a beautiful clean very light lavender/silver.

I might get the lavender shade just to try it out, and if it doesn’t come out like I hoped for, I’ll just get another lavender shade from a different brand. Or just use a dark purple all together

I just attempted to go lavender. I fucked up though because my roots were a lot more yellow than I thought. It ended up toning the yellow to a grey/silver and my lighter ends are violet. The thing is people keep telling me they like it. I just prefer one color so I’m going to try putting a smokey violet color over it. Intentionally trying to get a grayish color when covering my grey is a big reason I color my hair.

I bought the Pulp Riot neon colors in candy and lava. They are PIGMENTED!!! However after 2 washes they fade really fast. Bummer.
what if you bleach just the top part of your hair and leave the bottom as is and grow it out?

I used luscious lavender and had to tone my hair to white to get the purple to come through, and even then it only lasted once wash
I also work at cosmoprof and we usually just tell people it’s better to use as a base rather than a stand alone lavender color
My cat is just like that as soon as my face is near his he wants to hurt me 😂 he cut my friends lip before n I think it was so hilarious I feel w cats especially you can’t just pick ‘‘em up n shove their face into yours so now people think my cat is an A hole 😂😂💕😭✨

Please help me! I have permanent fashion colours on my hair (yellow and orange) professionally done, I'm trying to bleach using 20vol and it will not come out at all!!! No baking soda, no vinegar, no bleach wash will work and it was bleached before being dyed. The colour will not lift even a tiny bit! Please help!!!

Came out crazy splotchy not gonna lie. You’d have to have legit paper white hair for this to be lavender. Way better results and bang for your buck if you just dilute a stronger purple (ie the violet you love!). I think a lot of these pastel shades aren’t worth the price, you’d be way better mixing it yourself.

I bought a tube of luscious lavender and it looks NOTHING like what came out of your tube. Mine actually looks like extreamly pale pink. I don't see how it would even show up on paper white hair.
