Almeria is one of Andalusia’s hidden gems, tucked away on the southeast corner of Spain’s Mediterranean coast. With over 3000 hours of sunshine per year, less than 200 millimeters of rain and warm all year round climate, the province is a sun worshipers paradise. People visit Almeria for the tranquil atmosphere, crystal clean waters and the rugged landscapes as well off beaten private beaches surrounded by mountains.

I lived in 1978 to 1992. Wow the changes don't recognise it. When I first got there it still showed bomb damage from the civil war. Viva Almeria (mirror of the sea)

Really pretty, but where are all the people? Every single "walking tour" of Almeria I've seen on YT seems so empty. Is it just that everyone is videoing at 8:30am or something, and there's more bustle at other times of the day? Really befuddled.
