Been a fan for a short long while, fastest i bought a ticket, then waited a month to go to the show in Seattle that you rocked a few weeks ago; rare that an artist grabs me so quick, and even more rare the shit just keeps getting better when I re-listen to songs. This song is such a feel, the strong lyrical entry to the humble chorus. Dude, Mr. Nick Build, you are killing it. Stupid to compare people to other people sometimes, but I've been a fan of Kurt Cobain since the 90's when he left us, and not common I find someone with the strong elements of 1. Passion.. 2. Incredible songwriting... 3. Nearly always spot on pitch/melody. I won't write anymore, but gotta let folks know this man is effecting folks in a Real way.
Saw these guys last night when they were warming up for RKS in VT. They played this song... it is 10e6 x better live, and every other song was equally superbly delivered. And the lead has some interesting dialogue, nice quirky stage presence. These guys kick ass. (hint hint Nick, I do mean these guys... the group is magic, just sayin, you don't know what you got till its gone and all. Add a live percussionist to this mix and RKS will be opening for you in a few years)
