that time india was not that literate to understand these things and find the cause for things in todays scenario india is much more literate and also educated to accept such things and also it would be a crime when one of the person does not agree and forced for sex but in this case both agreed so what's the problem.
Yeh lust testing wala logic toh har molestor de sakta hai, no matter how much someone justifies it, it's still very stupid and cheap.
Good argument. Let’s define a molester, someone who invades private space of a man/woman without their permission to satisfy their own lust. When a molester does that the victim is shocked and traumatised. The victim complains and the molester is arrested.
Now look at this experiment, where the girl herself wanted to help in the experiment, no private space was invaded at any time, the participants had no shock/trauma after the experiment, there were no complaints made, there were no arrests.

Also that call seems unidirectional, he told his minor grandniece: "We both may be killed by the Muslims,and must put our purity to the ultimate test, so that we know that we are offering the purest of sacrifices, and we should now both start sleeping naked". This statement seems very manipulative, if it's told to a girl of that age. And as per current IPC, a consent taken on basis of manipulation is also molestation.
@@utkarshsharma4877Again a good argument. But we need to remember that the moral standards in 1940’s was different than in 2023. Most married freedom fighters went through child marriages which we can’t even think of these days. So marrying a 15-16 years was very common. If you even come to modern times the age of consent in UK is 16 years whereas in India it is 18 years hence what people do in UK can be seen as illegal from Indian law perspective. But it is all a perspective.

I think Mahabharat is not about lust but it's a story of Revenge. Don't think if some people likes a lady than she is beautiful for all over the world.

Jab Raam ji apne pyar k liye fight kar liye toh Gandhi Jii kyun fight nahi kiye using weapons? SC Bose ne jab weapon uthae toh unke sath itna politics kyun khela gaya?? Kyun Bhagat Singh jeese freedom fighters ko bachaya nahi gaya? Kya ese hi Raam Rajya ka nirman hota?

This is the most appropriate explanation that I have heard till now. This was also like one of the experiments that he did with other things throughout his life, as mentioned in his autobiography. Gandhiji also mentioned how lustful he was that he went to his wife instead of being with his father who was on deathbed and how guilty he was later for doing so. At that point I felt how much guts he had to confess his guilt which was so personal. This incident had a major impact on him throughout his life.
Those who haven't tried to understand Gandhiji berate him on this experiment. Maybe he was trying to test his tolerance on lust due to that past incident. However I always thought there might be some other solid reason behind this and maybe I am not intelligent enough to understand his intentions. But now I got the answer.

Your logic is laughable. Take a plain paper and write down the pros and cons of gandhi and leave it there. Do not try to explain them. I sincerely feel that Gandhi should not be "father of nation". He was a British plant into Indian society, to tame them. And he miserably failed in the task he was given.

You are just trying to justify pevertness of Gandhi using Noa Khali riots but I can give reference of Collective works of Gandhi letter written on 6 th March 1945 where he gives a list of women with whom he slept at that time there were no riots

The new generation of India doesn’t focus on scriptures and don’t follow the Hindu Sanatan dharm concepts. There are some institutions which still instil the concepts and injunctions of the scriptures in Vrindavan and Nawadwip. You give good logic but still he didn't did so because to check that I'm at fault due to which riots is happening that was not a good one. I've not read experiments with truth or ramachandra guha's book but still whatever I've read he did it to actually strengthen his tolerance, to not get distracted but I didn't think it has relations with riots as such. Well good explaination and the things that he actually overcome his racism and casteism is not fully established fact as ambedkar in his last time said in one interview that he is orthodox and arundhati Roy's book( ek tha doctor ek tha sant ) explains it very well. He though may not do discrimination (again debated ) but he firmly believe in varna vyavstha. Still it's ok evryone is not perfect someone has something wrong in them.
