- In this video I will be tearing down a 2020 Porsche Macan Base outer LED taillight.
There are lots of small clips holding the light together that took me a while to get apart. The only other complication is that most of the LED boards do no use quick connects on the wire connectors. This will cause you extra time if you are replacing one of the boards.
Could you do a disassembly of one of the headlights from a Toyota Prius C 2017?
Is it possible to replace the lens of this rear light? By any chance would you know of any suppliers or where to source a replacement outer lens?
I'm unaware of anyone selling just the lens.
Why did you have to cut the lens if it’s not held on by glue?
That's how I chose to do it for speed. However you want to separate the plastic weld is up to you

That green board where the lights are soldered in, imagine when that piece of trash fails, how much it's going to cost to replace the entire assembly.
