One of my friends made a great video on Facebook about things we should NOT say to ourselves and your video reminded me of it. We don't or shouldn't criticize or tell others they are no good and therefore we should never talk to ourselves like that. We should encourage and praise ourselves and tell ourselves we can do better next time instead of saying we are failures. Good luck with the new channel format and I hope you get your transportation issues worked out too 🙂

I know that you showed up in my timeline because I have been watching alot of videos from smaller creators trying to grow. I am going through now and watching this series. I know we are already on part 4. I love trying to find my community with the small UA-camr's and support as best as i can and just look forward to growing together!

Add end cards to the end of your videos so when your audience watches episode 1 the top left video can go-to episode 2 and the bottom left video can goto the play list for the series and add a subscribe button to the right and ask / guide your viewers to comment, like, subscribe and share the video near the end. People need to be reminded and then when your channel is over 1,000 Subscribers you can guide them to your store and 3% to 5% will purchase your products.

When you're a small channel, most of your new subs/views will come from people searching. As you grow, you will get more from youtube suggesting your videos through the algo. This is why early it's important to focus on your thumbnails, and titles..and of course topic matter. You're a beautiful woman....that's why you have a bunch of dudes tuning in.
Thank you for the info. Good to know. That makes sense about the views in the beginning coming from search when you're a small channel. You have a good handle name. People will search fishing and trout. Don't think they will search just me being kj... lol Thanks for the nice compliment.
@@CarLifeBlessings I was going to tell you that too. You need to have a good name that it's easy for people to remember. But reflects what you're doing. People have huge channels with names similar to yours. I'm not saying it's bad or anything but just make sure as you grow. That's the channel name you want because once you get bigger you need them to remember how to find you.
@@TroutWest Thank you. Yes, I was thinking just use my personal name. Not sure. Will have to think about the stability of my content going forward. So brand new still. Might change again. I know that can hurt my channel but don't want to claim another name yet until I am sure.
Car Life Blessings was a great name and unique 🙏 and it was great as it was for Uber and Spirituality... Just me being KJ is nice but it doesn't communicate Spirituality Healing ot Life coaching... my humble opinion.... channel can be your first and last name and 2nd channel can be a branded name like "next level soul" in the long run you will thank me as i learned the hard was. Have 2 channels and post the same video but different titles and different thumbnails and do A / B testing and you will be surprised at the results it only takes 30 more minutes... I only offered suggests as you asked and I have a small channel with 1,200 subscribers and a big channel with 34,000 subscribers... my big channel got demonized so had to start over but if you have 2 channels its safe 👍🏼
Wow, that must’ve been super frustrating to get your large channel demonetized. That makes sense to have two channels. Feels a bit overwhelming, but I’m sure I could look into it. I probably should have kept my channel name as Carr like blessings now that I think about it. Maybe I’ll just change it to my first and last name. This is also new to me. Thank you again for taking the time to offer such great suggestions. Truly appreciate it.
@KeishaJoy_ you are welcome, and yes, it's always best to start a fresh channel vs. changing the current one as the algo will get confused... It's a little slow... Having 2 channels is easy. All you have to do is 2 thumbnails and 2 titles and takes less than 15 min once you set up temelaes..
Add INFO cards 75% into your video and also guide your audience to click the info link and push it to a play list so your audience can binge watch, and this will increase your watch hours

@KeishaJoy_ make it a habit. Every video you post have a checklist with everything you have learned and is consistent, and watch your channel get monotized in less than 11 weeks...,
Keep your videos 8 min or longer so when you get monetized you can turn on adds. And they do well fo $ vs shorter videos

I'm new viewer. If you want to grow your channel think of titles that will draw viewers. I watch this one woman and she has a video called something like Being Old and Alone..and that video got over 100k views.
Hi @jenniferashley99 Thank you for taking the time to share a great suggestion with me. That women is onto to something. She developed a great signature for herself "Old and Alone."
You have more than 1 year to get monetized it like the last 365 days. So if you get 1,000 subscriber but not 4,000 hours its okay as you need 4k hours in last 365 days. Lastly 500 Subscribers will open up some options and 3,000 hours. If 1 video goes viral then you can get your watch hours in a few days. Focus on 500 Subscribers then 1,000 Subscribers then 3,000 watch hours then 4,000 watch hours. Easier goals to manage and remember you have more than 11 weeks and you can do it in 11 weeks also. Learn from each video and make next one a bit different and better. Blessings 🙌
Thank you for this info and good way to look at my goals. Easier to set smaller goals than bigger ones. in the end, yes, it is my goal to be monetized, but also I genuinely love making videos and sharing value with others. So it’s a win win for me.
@KeishaJoy_ Yes, 1 big goal with smaller action items and knock out the 5 action items, and you hit the big goal... notice, you are keeping your audience engaged on youtube by commenting, and we reply back... youtube loves that the more you can engage with your audience, the faster your channel will grow...
@@ridexserve I think I am liking youtube more and more. Growing engagement or having interaction on other social media platforms such as IG or FB was more difficult.
Lastly, first hour when you release a video 📹 is very important so you want to get 10 likes and 10 comments then youtube will open your video to more viewers. I have a WhatsApp group with family and uber drivers and ask 10 to 15 people to push my likes and comments in first 1 hour fyi
