It's good that Dave Filoni is going to continue, because he's going to drive Disney Star Wars to the wall completely. Sometimes something has to fall in order to rise again in glory.

I absolutely detest this "Us" vs "Them" mentality propagated by Disney and other large entertainment industries today (Hollywood as a generality, I suppose). At even the slightest indication that someone dislikes a piece of media, they are instantly branded as a sexist, a bigot, a racist, a homophobic, a toxic fan. Remember when directors, producers, and executives wouldn't say these things about the people they wanted to get money from? Remember when people truly cared about the craft of filmmaking, and didn't use flimsy fortifications against criticisms such as generalizations of opinions, people types, and even lives? Their work truly does reflect their own mind. The films that they create are sloppy, incoherent, and nonsensical. Simultaneously, their excuses regarding the failure of their films and the franchise as a whole are illogical, non-linear, and lazy, preferring to greet the feedback and criticisms of millions of fans with a dismissive name-calling, and a quick assumption of exactly who they are. Even while they continue to bleed money, they cling to this childish, naive idea. It's truly a testament to what mental barriers one can set for themselves...or what mental illness can be possessed and spread.
IMO, Ahsoka’s last canon appearance was TCW S5 where she left the Jedi order, and never was heard from again. Thus, her leaving helped pushed Anikan further towards the dark side alongside the events of Revenge of the Sith.
In actuality, Ahsoka last canon appearance was the Rebels S2 finale. Where she finally meets Vader face to face. And after having a big fight kind of side of his mask off, Ahsoka is horrified to see who Anakin *is* Vader. And after telling him she's won't leave him this time dies tragically in Vader's arms.

Especially the people who would have loved Andor. If Andor had come out before all the hate. Like after Mandolorian Season One, things would be VERY different.
I would say a most projects since the sequels have been good. Better state than what the MCU is in imo. The Mandalorian, Andor, and Tales of the Jedi have been great. Bad Batch has been decently good. I thought Ahsoka was good. It had it moments I thought episodes 7-8 were hit or miss but I thought 1-6 were good. I enjoyed the characters though. I wish Kenobi was better. That show had so much potential and it needed to be great but it only had parts that were good. The problem is that show was made by people who don’t know Star Wars.
Are you kidding? This is a terrible series with a terrible and typical plot for this format. It’s just that people are so tired of garbage that even mediocrity seems like a golden standard for them.
I mean 1) The tragic past of the hero - check 2) A cruel character does not show cruelty and behaves like a good guy in order to prolong the plot - check 3) Flashbacks and flashforward. If in the original and the prequels, all events took place in the present, then in Andor, as in a typical series, there are flashbacks designed to fill up the runtime. Many praised the series for showing "the Empire as something more human and realistic." In reality, side-characters in the Empire received more side activities not related to the empire or politics. Because Disney does not understand totalitarian regimes and the mindset of the people living there. Therefore, the Imperials behave and think like people in modern California.
I will also note that Andor has zero stakes, because the character from this series died a long time ago, and the action itself takes place in the past, which means there will be no significant impact for the future.
Dave Shilloni ought to return to making Saturday morning cartoons with a SW theme, not made the central figure of Lucasfilm. The existence of Ahsoka the show proves that the live action domain and it's complexities are waaaay above his abilities.
We lost Dave Filoni who make good Star Wars and now turning to Sh*tty ideas, bad character development and bad story. Also lucky Pedro Pascal left Mandalorian. If any Disney Star Wars Shills that are sad that Pedro left, I got 2 words for ya? “Suck It!”
Looks like RetroBlasting was right, people who have no experience in the field keep getting promoted, while the people with knowledge and experience with a certain job or property get pushed out of the way.
I mean just listen to him he clearly bats for the other team. He probably plays with barbie dolls along with star wars figures when he gets home. If you think disney will ever change your not thinking clearly.
I never got the appeal of the ‘filoniverse’, the minute this guy got involved, it wasn’t Star Wars anymore, loooong before Disney got their sticky mitts on it. But there are a whole cavalcade of “Star Wars fans” who worship DF like he’s a god & in their eyes he can do no wrong.
The people who hated on George Lucas finally have him leave his creation, and look how it has turned out. This is just a complete travesty. Also, you want to know the saddest thing about this? There are still people who think shows like Obi-Wan, Andor, and Ahsoka, are better than what George created. This includes both the prequels and the original trilogy. 😔😪😭
I mean....Yoda himself said it, and I quote "....penetrates..." so, yeah there's that. But really...why does fictional space magic have to be assigned a penis or a vagina. Concepts having a gender is stupid..

Nice clip of the Sovereign from Hercules the Legendary Journeys. lol I love that show and still watch it more than most modern shows, including Star Wars. Anyways about the topic. I don't really feel that these old videos are proof that Filoni will be a problem. They are too old, and at the time, Filoni was under the control of Kathene Kennedy. He had to either get on board, or get out. That's just how Hollywood works. But now, Filloni has more power. I wouldn't expect ground breaking changes. But that's good too. Ground breaking changes are what caused all the problems in the first place. But there is another thing too. Now Disney itself is seeing the writing on the wall, and the change in public opinion. And yeah. I wouldn't expect ground breaking changes from them either. But I think we can expect them to back off a little, keeping an eye on what succeeds and fails. If I recall right, Blackrock isn't even a major investor anymore at Disney (not sure). It was Blackrock that created and forced DEI/ ESG. So I do expect Disney to back off a little. The Only reason KK is even still at Disney is because they haven't found a way to break her contract yet.
You have a point about Sabine being turned into a Mary Sue. Not only did she survive a lightsaber stab, but force pushing Ezra 100 meters, 5 minutes after using the force for the first time ever was pretty annoying. I'm not sure how Hollywood works though. I know that Filoni didn't direct the episode where Sabine force pushed Ezra. Though he did direct the episode where Sabine was stabbed. hmmmm... That is troubling. Still I am hoping for the best. But yeah. We can't overlook these Mary Sue moments. I mean, Sabine is already bullet proof, being a Mandalorian.
When did this guy show up on the scene? Around the time that 'The Clone Wars' show showed up to erase the continuity of already established by comics, novels another show by (almost) the same name? Has has no idea what humans are really like. Very few of us can be truly independent.
As someone that actually liked Star Wars Rebels... man what a disappointment. It is obvious that Filoni worked better when he had restrictions. Giving him full power is ridiculous.
Wow!! You are the first person I have heard that said anything even slightly negative about Andor. Good job. I tried to watch it, and it was the first Star Wars streaming show I quit before it ended, ever. I thought the visuals were fantastic. If it wasn't a prequel I would have stuck with it. I just hate prequels. I don't watch sci-fi to see the past. I watch it to see the future. Besides Andor's dialog was hard to follow. And, it was sort of boring. I did start to get into it during the center of the show, when they actually were doing something and sabataging the base or whatever. But then Andor got arrested. I just figured that's where he would be when Rogue One started, as I haven't watched any Star Wars film other than the original trilogy. I didn't want to spend the rest of the series with Andor in jail. Not really sure what happened with that, or what season 2 would be then. But glad I'm not the only fan in existence that has negative things to say about Andor.
My problem with Andor is I don't think the way they portray the rebels is inline with the vision of George Lucas. They literally behaved like the bad guys in that show. Also the show has too much game of thrones wannabe droning dialogs that try to take itself too serious, but lack depth and signifying nothing. Anyway Star Wars is dead now, I'll just stick with the old stuff.
@@erikahuxley Yeah. The dialog is droning and hard to follow. I have to put on subtitles just to even understand what they are saying. Also, the main theme about Andor going on the run because of a murder. That's hard to take seriously in the Star Wars universe where people are dying left and right all the time, and no one ever seemed to care before. Other than those things, I did start to get into it it, when they were doing their mission. But then that ended, and the show kept going. That's when I stopped watching. I thought it should have ended when they completed the mission. Why were their 2 more episodes. idk because I never watched the last 2. lol

I will also note that Andor has zero stakes, because the character from this series died a long time ago, and the action itself takes place in the past, which means there will be no significant impact for the future.
Mando s1-3 are trash; every other thing filoni has made is trash
Dave Shilloni ought to return to making Saturday morning cartoons with a SW theme, not made the central figure of Lucasfilm. The existence of Ahsoka the show proves that the live action domain and it's complexities are waaaay above his abilities.
Don't worry, Grizzy, Theory is starting to come around. Give it time.
The Failure is Female
The Flops are Female
The Fiascos are Female…you go girls!
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
"Nothing built by weaklings lasts."
how long can they afford to lose billions every year?
I’ve never heard him speak before. It all makes sense now.
You ever notice you never hear the phrase " a strong independent man" for some reason its only ever said about brods
I can hear the stampede of the shills
They can make whatever trash they want and call it Star Wars but I refuse to watch one second of their lore destroying filth! Great work Grizzy!
Ah well... Rebel Moon it is!
I mean just listen to him he clearly bats for the other team. He probably plays with barbie dolls along with star wars figures when he gets home. If you think disney will ever change your not thinking clearly.
The force is fail..
So the years of books and novels don’t matter.
I say let em go at it and WE enjoy the lols. Looking forward to the part 2 of the panderverse.. LMAO.
You were supposed to be the chosen one, Dave!
cant wait for PRISM to retell the new Rey movie, with AI
Kathleen’s meat shield aka Dave Filoni
The people who hated on George Lucas finally have him leave his creation, and look how it has turned out. This is just a complete travesty. Also, you want to know the saddest thing about this? There are still people who think shows like Obi-Wan, Andor, and Ahsoka, are better than what George created. This includes both the prequels and the original trilogy. 😔😪😭
He already made a Mary sue in Ahsoka so it's safe to assume that he would have absolutely no problem with Rey.
Im hoping Dick Baloney is an Infiltrator just playing along until he can take over and fix everything. Im sure in some other universe this is true
The Only Star Wars Fans wanted is the EU, & give the Big 3 a PROPER Send Off.
Well that’s it I’m am done forever with star wars
Fitting that Filoni is standing at a podium that says "nitwit"
Im glad Filoni was "promoted." Now the Filoni stans will have no excuse when everything that comes out is shit.
I’ve just about given up with Star Wars.
Ahsoka/tcw is the blueprint for rey and Disney star wars. Akwardly shoved in mary sue female character shoved in a shit story.
The Force is Not Female
I mean....Yoda himself said it, and I quote "....penetrates..." so, yeah there's that. But really...why does fictional space magic have to be assigned a penis or a vagina. Concepts having a gender is stupid..
Kennedy pulled an Iger, he had Chapek she has Filoni.
Filoni is just a baby male version of KK creating unlikeable mary sues and simps even harder i can't take hearing his baby voice when he is talking and his show Ahoska already proved it how big of toxic simp he is and wil never let his OC's get killed but even make them more op and toxic🙄 he has worse vision i ever seen
The thing Filoni will save is money.
He's a fucking business major.
🤔🤔🤔”Disney Star Wars”needs re-named simply Disney💩…
I love the smell of burning money in the morning
That thumbnail. Lol
Let them keep losing money. "Too bad".
2025: Filoni Gets fired "Too bad"
2028: Star Wars gets sold "Too bad"
A New Hope? If only...
I stopped watching Shill Theory when he said Rise of Skywalker was “beautiful.”
Dave Filoni wants to be Robert Rodriguez so bad with that cowboy hat.
The mandalorian was woke too I can’t be the only one that was intricate for the apparent female mandos
Is that his real voice? Wow, the low T is new level.
The Austin powers clip was 👍
Well Star Wars is dead boys
God I can hear soy gurgling out of idiot filioni voice good lord
When did this guy show up on the scene? Around the time that 'The Clone Wars' show showed up to erase the continuity of already established by comics, novels another show by (almost) the same name?
Has has no idea what humans are really like. Very few of us can be truly independent.
As someone that actually liked Star Wars Rebels... man what a disappointment. It is obvious that Filoni worked better when he had restrictions.
Giving him full power is ridiculous.
and those restrictions came from Favreau.. Yet he got threw under the bus for it.
Star Wars Theory is a Disney Shill AND Canadian.
….why do Real Star Wars Fans still give him a pass??
I really enjoyed his streams with Mauler, and Ryan Kinel... felt like he was seeing the light. Apparently not
Those Damn Canadians!, wait what did Canada do wrong?
He says “Im all for it” not “It makes sense”
New face? LOL. Filoni reminds me of Howdy Doody. Same vapid grin.
Doesn't he have a super feminist wife + Kathleen Kennedy yep Star Wars is really screwed now 🤦♂️
Why were their 2 more episodes. idk because I never watched the last 2. lol
Filoni being named cco is all because of South Park.
He Looks exactly Like Ethan klein
Cannot believe people are applauding what he is saying
You know it's bad when you pull out a clip of Kevin Nash.
It will go wrong. Dave will be blamed. Yup. Spot on.
