- Randy Newberg joins long-time friend and tag-holder Jerry Pritchard on a late Arizona elk hunt. Excitement is high on this scouting day as multiple bulls are spotted including a "GREAT BIG ONE" The crew makes plans tomorrow and prepares for opening day. It will be hard for Jerry to sleep tonight as he dreams of the giant bull in the canyons below.

I got very lucky and drew a NM Gila Bull rifle tag this year, if i were to see a bull of that caliber I seriously think I would go through 2 pairs of merino shorts that evening.

Expect tough hunting. 2017-18 is the harshest winter in over a decade. Wish I had a better outlook, but this will be a tough year. Lots of BLM and Block Management property to hunt.
