Shift lever has the 'Performance Shift' button, but the indicator is not lit up. Does it not work with the new tranny? Maybe shoulda left the old one in and used performance shift probably woulda been quicker...
@@brianlagace2579 i didnt spend the time to setup the other table. The normal shift table is already spiced up higher than the factory perf shift tables.
@@heathparks-i3d i heard that too. In my other video i believe i show the linkage bracket to the transmission. I overlaid the stock gtp bracket w the cadi bracket on the trans because the shift cable locking tabs are a different size, welded the bracket and painted it. Slotted the holes in the bracket for adjustement. Made sure my starting point was good. Stock gtp shifter
Hell ya glade to see the transmission is holding up what all modifications did you do inside of it or just drilled out the valve body plate feed holes?
Just drilled out the feed holes. I cant remember how big i made them but it seems to work. Its also easy to do after the fact since the vb is accessible from the bottom of the car. I have just a big external cooler. I probably should think about going through the radiator cooler too. I monitored temp and it did great.
Unfortunately thats not something I want to get involved with. On the design side of things I honestly cant say if they wont break on high hp applications. I dont want to get involved with manufacturing or having to deal with unsatisfied customers. I have too many other projects I want to put time into that are fun to me
shitfs are so slow on these makes you appreciate the modern transmissions wish there was a 6t80 swap possible but this is defiantly the best way to go on a budget for sure seems to be holding up well
Yes. I did relay to invert the 2-3 shift logic although there is a way to fix that just with tiny tuner. Pulses / rev 39. Pulses / mile 23434. Drive ratio 1:1. Im running a 3.11 gear. I also have an older swap video that is ~ 7 minutes long that you might be interested in

what did you use for the speed sensor
i was told you had to use the cadillac shifter

@josephnowak would you be willing to make some mounts up and sell then for the 3800 wbody guys?

that is the stock shifter right have you had any shifting issues i want to do this with my impala ss
@@heathparks-i3d i didnt have any issues with it lining up. Double checked the linkage to make sure it was in the detents. Lines up fine
Did you have to re tune it to make the transmission work correctly with the l67?? I’ve been sitting on one in my garage for a while
