I thankfully never played 4... but certainly loved and cherished this series growing up. I would love to see a Bloody Roar: Definitive edition where it allows for all characters from the series to be played. The last entry I played was on the Gamecube as a youth. Primal Fury was the pinnacle of that game for me.

I think when they called Uriko 'Uriko the Cat', they meant 'house cat' or 'domesticated cat'. But that was probably too long and didn't flow as well as just 'cat'. Besides, there are THOUSANDS of house cat breeds ranging from the common European Shorthair to the Tabby to the Manx to the Turkish Angora. There's just a LOT of different house cats out there and the creators just said "eff it!" and made her 'Uriko the Cat'. Yeah, it's generic, but oh well. Her beast form is cute. XD As an animal lover and video game enthusiast (as well as a Killing Bites fan), I grew to love the game series even though I've never played it. I appreciate the creativity of the producers & designers. Great video btw! Earned yourself a subscriber!
Primal Fury for GameCube was the one that I was most invested in.. And its the one that was best for me..with the introduction of Hyper mode and new characters such as Phoenix.. And the parry system made combat have even more depth when 2 decent players were going at it.. It had the best controls.. Pulling off Yugos endless "combo" or Phoenix move that made him stay in flight (if you knew how to do it)..

Good on you for enjoying BR4, but there's a difference between having an opinion on something, and something being objectively bad. BR4 is by far the weakest entry in the series and it suffers from a lot, no matter how much you appreciate it.
Would've loved to see a game with ALL the characters from the Bloody Roar, with old and new costumes and cutscenes (I remember now that Xion is an evil version of Guyver from the anime 😁)

Bloody Roar will make a comeback sooner or later. There is too much potential to ignore. Beast-mode, characters, stage interactions and gameplay. With minor tweaks BR can easily be relevant and interesting today

The real reason why they made Nagi is due to Kasumi (Dead or Alive) success.
Never got over them replacing Fox with Jenny.
