We Need More Birds In The Aviary Blake !
Use a light gauge wire to just reweave the holes or put a patch. Preferably black so it’s invisible. Don’t cut just patch, much easier and will be stronger. Or just use the wire to weave the patch in.

I had a white dove for 20 years they make beautiful pets they I had got mines a cinnamon and white ring neck male to mate with they both have passed but you should get her a peach and white pied ti mate with her .several breeders on Facebook that ships .

Hey Blake, I would separate the wood duck hen from the mandarin, they can’t cross breed so all you would receive from that pairing is infertile eggs :)
So I looked up a mandarin x wood duck cross looks like and it doesn’t look too bad, the males head coloring is a bit on the drab side, but it’s not too bad, pictures of mallard x wood duck hybrids also popped up and those look super cool

Humans eat quail though, its healthier than chicken. But obviously not from Blakes Exotic animal feeders because his are not bred for human consumption

❤Blake, I have a pretty large, fenced backyard area. The entire thing is landscaping with artificial Turf that is for dogs. I Absolutely ❤❤ it. There are reasons for having the Turf and one big one is I'm a retired breeder of imported Longcoat European German Shepherds. Im also a dog trainer. I currently have 5 adult LC German Shepherds.
I live near the foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Years ago we had a VERY bad flood during the fall months. We have clay soil so 2 weeks later when we had a freeze and some snow, I still had more than a foot of water in my yard. This flooding spanned more than 100 miles going from up in the mountains, following the rivers, taking out farmers gas storage tanks, flooding town waste water plants, leech fields, heading east and north up into Nebraska. People didn't have water, couldn't shower, roads, bridges were gone. Homes were completely lost because they didn't dry since winter came and everything froze. When spring came...my grass, many trees...dead. I later found out from Colorado State University that it was a combination of contamination from toxins from fields and roots being encased in ice. We are considered a high plains desert so many plants and grasses are meant for drought conditions. Unfortunately for 5 years I planted seed, got a truck of new soil and sod 1 yr....nothing lived.
The other issue is worry about the puppies. I had a couple big squares of Turf I swapped (washing and sanitizing one while the other was on the ground). I realized the benefits. No muddy feet, no weeding, mowing, watering ect. I have had the entire yard done since 2017 and it still looks fantastic. I do have a small patch of grass because dogs do eat grass, and its very important in hot areas that you have shade so kids or animals don't burn their feet....at least here in this altitude you do.

Do you know if the dove is a pied mutation of your native Mourning dove (Zenaida macroura), or a non native Domestic ring dove (Streptopelia risoria), that pied mutation is very common in.
is that a diamond dove blake? You should get her a pair and get some other specie like emerald dove, pink necked green pigeon, spotted dove, zebra dove and ring neck dove.

TBH u should atleast creep on of the duck mixes. I would love to atleast see what the become. It’s just my opinion but u should keep them. If u just don’t want to that is fine. But I definitely think u should keep them.
