NOTES: OSEE made NDI into the Beta version for some reviewers to test it. However it is not yet ready for release until the thorough test can be done. Pls stay tuned with OSEE.
The NDI functionality will be released through a FW update, and in addition you'll have to purchase a license to activate the NDI, which is sold separately.

Best review
This is the most honest review yet! I cannot use it with Castr because their key has an underscore in it and the GoStream keyboard does not.
Thanks for the heads up on Castr.
why do you want to use it with castr? doesnt it stream to multiple destinations from the switcher itself already?
gracias, muy claro. ya lo compre. lo del disipador genial
Thanks.
Thanks for the look at what goes on behind the scenes.
A lot of work and expense going into the content you provide
I'm probably overthinking my setup, but it works for now.
Interesting vid clip Rob. Such a small unit. Digital systems are much smaller than my analogue TAC Scorpion 40 audio input with 8 sub groups, master stereo out and auxiliaries mixing desk I had with my Audio Company. Now the equivalent audio desk has reduced considerably in size. Looks like this video mixer is very versatile and excellent for a small home studio 👍👌😊😊
Thanks. I've seen those older video mixers. They would make great props for a 1970's Dr. Who style tv show.
Thanks
Welcome
Where is your headset? I bought this over the ATEM Pro to monitor my audio. If I cannot get it to work soon, I will return it.
Ευχαριστούμε!
Thank you!
Nice information Thank you. Totally irrelevant question to this video. What monitors do you use? Difference between 99% & 100% sRGB for photography? For small prints does it matter?
I'm using LG 4k as my main monitor and an old AOC wide screen monitor. My LG is 100% srgb and 98% DCI-P3. Most monitors support sRGB at or near 100%. The short answer is 99% or 100% doesn't matter. So if you print directly from your photo editor, check any boxes that say something to the effect "Let the Printer Manage the Color" and you should be fine. For critical printing, it's more about the overall workflow from capture, to edit, to print. Color space, calibration (icc profiles for monitor and printer), printing technology (inks, printhead), and paper choice (matte, glossy, glass, metal). Hope that helps.
@@RobTrekThank you for the reply. I understand now.
Thanks Rob for the great demo and information. Two questions: 1. Where can I buy it in the UK? 2. Does it work with the Mac and IOS system?
Many thanks
You probably need to order directly from the manufacturer here: osee-tech.com/products/gostream-deck
@@RobTrek thanks for the reply.
What are the cameras/lenses for cameras 1 through 4? Thanks for the video 👍
Main Camera #1: Olympus E-M10 Mark II with 17mm f/1.8
Overhead Camera #2: Fujifilm X-T30 with 35mm f/1.8
Wide Shoot Camera #3: Olympus OM-1 with 12-40mm f/2.8
Overhead Camera #3: Olympus E-M5 Mark III with Panasonic 25mm f/1.8
@@RobTrek Thanks!
I’m having a hard time getting the video in sync with the audio. No mater how I hook it up, the audio is ahead of the video. I’m using 2 canon xa75 camcorders and a go pro 12. Any thoughts?

If you're using OBS, I added 220ms delay in the advanced audio settings.
do you know a solution why my Canon C70 will not show through the Osee Pro ... my Canon R5 I have no problem with it
I'm not sure. Try setting the HDMI on the C70 to do 1080p, 60.
It seems like one wouldn’t necessarily need OBS with this device. Do you use OBS to bring in other sources and pre-recorded material, and to hit the button to Go Live? Do you use the Preview window in OBS or the preview window in your new switcher device? I really enjoyed in this behind the scenes video.
I could use the device without OBS for most of my streaming. For creating content, I need OBS so I can record several cuts, replay the cuts, and delete ones I don't need. Once I have all my main cuts, I can bring those into Davinci resolve where I would use other pre-recorded material, graphics, and images.
What GB SanDisk v30 did you use? In the box the instructions say use > 150mb write which is basically the v90 cards... real world experience counts! Thanks
It was a 32gb Sandisk Extreme Pro.
@@RobTrekBH recommended a v60... I have a few SanDisk Extreme Pro... given your recording success is quite helpful- thanks!
does it do split screen? i need 3 hdmi split screen on output.
You can do 2 hdmi split screen. A 3rd one can be done but it would be behind the first 2 and mostly blocked. Normally the 3rd one would be a solid color or texture for background.
@@RobTrekthanks for your response
Is there a built in scaler for each input??
There are scalers/frame synchronizer on all inputs, but the maxim resolution is limited to 1080p50/60.
Thanks for the info.
Hi, Rob! I have an oddly specific question
So, i’m hoping to ask a friend to bring this unit for me from the US
Does it have a lithium ion battery that my airline should know about or is it safe to check it in?
No batteries. I haven't travelled in a long time, so can't say any more than that.
@@RobTrek THANK YOU
This support Web ui control?
Not that I'm aware of.
What about the video quality recorded on SD Card? Your current video quality is not good if you streamed from this switcher.
The quality from the device is equal to my camera output. The video recorded to sdcard is the same at 30mbits/s. I use fairly low lighting in my studio so iso was running between 800 and 1600 on my m4/3 cameras. When I attached my Panasonic S5, the video quality is noticeably better. Hope that helps.
@@RobTrek Thank you very much for replying. If the recording quality of the video is same as camera output, than it is a great device, we are currently using ATEM television studio hd, atem mini pro and sony mcx 5000. We will consider about this device in near future. I wish they release SDI version as well.
@@aaftabpk You may want to reach out to this other channel as they use their Gostream in real productions. They could probably give you much better feedback than I can. ua-cam.com/video/R09f4K4vM7Y/v-deo.html
If they are not responsive, I'll be happy to send you a link to some video recorded to the SDcard in decent lighting on my S1R.
How do you sleep at night Rob? You have so much tech around you that you have 10,000 options to keep track of....does your head ever wind down? Egads.
I'm only good for a couple of hours a day. Otherwise I'm binging Netflix.
