Any conversations of a NHL tough guy should include Craig Coxe. The dude was absolutely fearless - he was not a true heavyweight but he was willing to take on every tough guy... he only played briefly for the Canucks but I remember really rooting for the guy and he was my favourite tough guy before Gino Odjick.
As for Joshua's return, it's good that the team has the luxury to allow him to ease back in first on the fourth line... I do think that he is capable of being a 30-goal scorer playing a top six role. Having him be on a wing with Garland with EP40 I think would be quite magical...

Gadjovich, Forsling, OEL, and Lockwood all drank champagne from the Stanley Cup this summer.
Good to see former Canucks succeeding.... and Vancity management with egg on their face.

lockwood did nothing here, when they played him. That might be on coach Green but he didn't get it done. hard worker though

DT : 'Queens Park, there were bikers in there, everyone on the Bruins was 7 feet tall', been watching you for four decades now and you still got it kid! 😆
And how many fights have you seen that lasted 25 seconds but each guy threw about 50 punches? Not too many these days. Old school hockey, gotta love it!

The guy knocked out by McLaren was David Dziurzynski. He played for BCHL’s Alberni Valley Bulldogs before the incident.

don't know why mcsorely would be included in any kind of event like this. nothing more than a goon who could have killed brashear with a 2 hander he delivered to his head because he didn't have the balls to square up and fight him. jim kyte and dustin byfuglien were 2 of the toughest guys i ever watched.

    3:54 Beauty.
5:44 I remember getting his hockey card and thinking, "What the... He looks like my grade 9 science teacher. Except with a temper...:
6:38 I remember him... I always thought, "When your last name seems to be missing a letter, I'm betting your skill set is punching." Man was his face ever asymmetrical.

Have we forgiven McSorley for his attack on Brashear?

    • @hklinker

      Why would we?

YES, but mcsnarly was a goon who could play.. Goon first.. Dirty as they come

I can see why McSorley would be popular amongst the league for an event, but as a Canucks fan and what he did to Brashear I was never a fan and I don’t remember seeing any kind of apology or amends from him that would warrant him being in Langley
