Splendid and well done. I started out my channel with Alpha Protocol type videos despite it being 2017, and got commented on how i'm 7 years late. But here you are and one other, proving that the game wasn't entirely dead after all. They 'may' make a remaster and I would hope for such.
@@anxietyreport9037 Thanks, that actually inspires me. Don't have much going right now but AP is where I started and it had more success than anything else.. kinda hope it gets remastered but till then I'll just mess around with other interactive games. I like the game rants you do. Been working on some new ones, myself. Maybe some day we can do a collab or something~
Yeah I wish Obsidian would get another chance, at either a remake or a remaster. And you're right...with better AI and technical performance I think it would have done better with audiences.
The game sounds great but I suck at RPG. Still I would love to play it, spy games are extremely rare on PC. Does this game has any patches to fix bugs & glitches ?
I would still recommend trying it out, you don't have to be good at RPGs to enjoy it trust me. And there aren't many bugs but the technical performance can still be hit or miss. The underlying technical problems concern the AI which cannot really be fixed.
It was such a great game sure it had it's flaws but I still replay it from the beginning every couple of years. If stupid Atari hadn't rushed Obsidian when making this game we probably would have been on our third Alpha Protocol game by now. It's shame that we will probably never get a second game and following up more of Mike's story. They built such a great world that had potential to explore and to see the consequences of your actions from the first game. The conversation system was great. If you can look past the faults and some of the bugs it's a really great game with great characters.
I agree completely. I still go through it from start to finish every couple of years. Really wish they could have refined the combat (specifically the shooting) either before release or with a sequel. Still one of my favorite games
For an initial release of a new IP it's great! Look ash the first Mass Effect, it's not perfect, it's not nearly as deep as the sequels. But they got better and now we've got Andromeda!! Joking aside, this game had to compete with Mass Effect and there's no competing with full on Bioware Titles. That being said the fact that they made the only game to really compare it the play style of MassEffect says something, I mean they made New Vegas and that game is regarded as basically easily the best of the newer Fallout games...
It's interesting that you bring up Mass Effect because I never once thought about the comparison while I was playing, but after playing it made a lot of sense. I think the original Mass Effect is most similar to the RPG elements in AP, but with a much better combat system. I think where AP excels over all three ME games is the dialogue and reputation systems
I wish I could play this game.... It's not sold online anymore and I don't want to buy a CD drive just for 1 game... "Update"- I found a CD Key from somewhere and got it on steam
@@barone8889 I think so. New Vegas does and it came out just 4 months after. If not I think there's software you can download that is basically an emulator for playing older PC games but I don't know much about it
The voice acting in this game was top notch! And hilarious!
Agreed, the characters are some of the best in a game I've played
This is Awesome, i really need to check out this game. Thankyou!
The game has it;s flaws but I replay it from the beginning every couple of years.
It's the closet thing we will get to a spy rpg.
thepayne78 Same here, I always revist it from time to time because it’s so much fun

I just checked out your channel and subbed - cool stuff...really like your AP Glitches and Gags video. I appreciate you watching and supporting

AnxietyReport- "Its also the most rewarding because......you know."
Glad someone liked that joke
A true hidden gem
Couldn't agree more
sad that they never fixed the glitches in the game, also the AI is really bad, but yes this game is ambitious, I hope it gets a remastered version.

i did the Motion Capture for this game
I wish this game was made backwards compatible or remastered
You and me both. It deserves a modern update...if it was polished it would be one of the better games you can buy today

Flawed yes but its the game ive replayed the most due to simply how much replay value it has
Couldn't agree more...the replay value is insane, I go back to it almost every year

Glad you found it, hope you had as much fun as I did
Are you going to review 2k20 when it comes out?
Where have you been?
Great game, minus the combat elements.
Combat is definitely the weakest part of the game
I love this game. Does anyone know any place i can download it for PC? Steam no longer sells it.
I love it too. Not sure you can download it anymore but you can still get the PC disk from third party sellers like eBay and Amazon.
@@anxietyreport9037 Will it install and work in Windows 10?

I forgot her name but can the player get into a romantic relationship with the deaf woman?
thaneros No, you can not romance Sis. You can have a friendship/animosity all the same, but there’s no romance option.
Are you gonna review nba2k20?
