When I was a teen I ran the streets with some unruly people. I did things that hurt my community and my people. A brother sold me a video of this great man. I watched it and began to seek more knowledge and began to change my life. It was right on time because I was about to become a father. I was on the path to sure destruction. I am a white man who once upon a time saw this person as someone to be wary of, and even afraid of. Then, one day I put my judgement and yes, prejudice aside, and listened to this honorable man. Wow! Once i opened my mind, and my heart to his message, I realized that there is so much good in this mans heart. No prejudice, no hatred of anyone! This made me cry because I realized that I too need a spiritual mentor in my life. I feel so lost now that both my parents are gone. It's so easy to slip into a downward spiral. A very dangerous place for me to be and I want to find a way out.
