I came across Baxter Black for the first time just a couple of days ago on youtube. I just found out he passed away by reading these comments, and can't believe what a loss I feel. God love ya, Baxter.
All animals need your love if you make them a part of your family. Because they are a part of tour family as soon as you take them in. Love your pets because they love you.
What can you say about dogs? There aren't enough words . Unconditional love loyalty , friendship , courage. All ways happy to see you. If you don't like dogs , there is something wrong with you.
My dog passed in April. I am proud to say that in the years I had him, I never so much as raised my voice to him a single time. Every word I spoke to him was with kindness, as it would be for a best friend. We camped together from Florida to California - in the deserts of Arizona, in the mountains of Tennessee on the beach in Louisiana, and he was only ever on a leash in his life when the rules required. I was a trainer for dogs in the entertainment industry for many years but my opinion has changed 180 degrees. There was no need for him to sit and heel or any of that stuff. Just being my faithful companion every day of his life was his job. I will never forget you, my dear friend and as Will Rogers said "If there are no dogs in heaven, I want to go where they went" Heaven would be to see your big, goofy, happy face again.
