When I was 17 years old, I was on holiday with my sister to the south of France, Grasse. I was working in a perfumery at the time and loved seeing the perfume city of Grasse. That's why I thought it would be nice to see it again with Romy & Claire. Unfortunately it has become too commercial and much too touristy for us. Yeah popular destinations over the years have lost their charm and uniqueness. I lived in Nice for awhile, loved it. I had read a book a long time ago which uses Grasse and the perfume industry as part of the story line - it was made into a movie, the movie was not as good as the book. Perhaps you have heard of it, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer by Patrick Süskind

I’m not a beer drinker and when Fred smells them his face tells there is a difference. To me they all smell the same. Lol. Love watching Coco and Chouchou play in the yard. This place you’re staying at is absolutely gorgeous. I hear a lot of bug noises.

I can't say, but this place seems to have so much to enjoy when going out among the public. I love the views from your balcony too! It is pleasing to see the girls are still going on vacation with you & Fred. Here in the USA the kids don't go on vacation with their parents as soon as possible to stay alone. I should say some kids. I think young teens get in trouble when left at home....not a good idea until they are old enough to be out on their own. Praying you feel better!
Agreed. Certainly with access to social media at teen years is a disaster in my opinion. One of my favorite things about this channel is they often eat together and interact. I didn't have that.😊

I went to Grasse in 1985 with my then boyfriend who is now my husband of 38 years. It was quaint and lovely. We bought a dozen little aluminum bottles of perfume and brought them home as gifts for friends and family. I am sorry to hear it has become so commercialized. Einfach krass😂, Fred wechselt sein Poloshirt gegen ein T-Shirt in der gleichen Farbe beim Biertrinken . Sehr gut zusammengeschnitten Eveline. Wie geht es Lulu? Es tut mir leid dass es passiert ist mit dem Ratten Gift. Meine Dackeldame hatte auch mal Gift gegessen. Das wurde in unseren Garten geworfen. Es ist schon ein paar Jahre her und sie hat es Dank unserer Tierärztin überlebt.

I worked in a perfumery for just over three years and loved every moment, but had to give it up as arthritis in my lower back meant I couldn't stand up for more than a few minutes at a time. Naturally I would have been in 7th heaven in a perfumery in Grasse 😊. Fred's first two beers 🍺 were a loss, but 1 out of 3 wasn't bad. You're certainly sounding better Eveline, take care ❤
There are little caps you can buy to keep the carbonation in if you don’t finish the entire bottle. Keep some in you suitcase. A good stocking stuffer for Fred at Christmas. ❤

I really like this house compared to the other one. The other house was nice too, but over time it changed. Not much upkeep, that was left to you. This house a better pick. And the temperatures seem to be milder, while near the mountains. 90's low in the 60's in the evening. That to me is refreshing. Not like the temperatures, that I have been dealing with in my neck of the woods 110 degree index (F) 105 (F) during the day. At night, high 80's. A typical heat wave in various parts of the world. Just glad you and the family really enjoying yourselves and Lou, Coco and Chou!!!! The girls are having a blast with more to do in Grasse, and Fred!!!!
I gotta hand it to Fred for at least trying different beers. Personally, I have a hard time doing that, once I find a few beers I like I don't tend to give anything else a try. Nobody enjoys drinking ditch water, no matter how cold and frosty it may be 😂 Looks like everyone is having fun, hope you're feeling better Eveline.

I gotta hand it to Fred for at least trying different beers. Personally, I have a hard time doing that, once I find a few beers I like I don't tend to give anything else a try. Nobody enjoys drinking ditch water, no matter how cold and frosty it may be 😂 Looks like everyone is having fun, hope you're feeling better Eveline.
