Dodge 318 Cummins 😂 I don't even want to hear that because this whine sounds exactly like the whine in my 06 f-150 that needed all new power steering components and it still fucking leaks but it doesn't whine anymore but it doesn't steer easily either damn you Ford and you confusing ass power steering system.
Mel's 12valve Turbos feel too fake. It's like an ugly girl with makeup. There's nothing special with the original engine/face and then once boost/makeup kicks in, then it's kind of impressive but you're still disappointed knowing the base thing sucks.
Fucking tanks. I rolled one at 40 onto the passenger side and didn't even break the mirror. Just popped it off and ripped the wires. Flattened the door out a bit, and broke the rear pop out window. I didn't have my seatbelt on, and never moved. Came to a stop, and I'm sideways up in the air like what the hell just happened?
Love this truck. I've had mine for 18 years and not one day of trouble out of it. Diablo Predator tune for 15 years, 14PSI 93 octane. I will not part with this truck.

I have also had my 2002 for a long.. if you ever have your intake off replace the coolant line underneath.. it's around a quarter inch and it will develop a leak in the 90.... I do not like my seats they look good but they do not hold you in position... These trucks are getting very rare... They are hard to justify keeping but luckily I am stubborn
My dad has a 2002 charcoal color with stock reddish orange decal that runs along the side and ends as s flame at the end. He's had it since new and was the very first one that showed up in the lot. I remember me and my brother drove that thing on the weekends and smoked so many cars lol. It's still going today with close to 170,000 miles strong.
Money Making Maniac the 4 door auto is not a POS first of all I own one it's a great vehicle. Secondly, it has to be a 4 door auto so it's a closer comparison to this truck and the lightning.
It's not that bad, i daily this thing for 9 years now, it can get pretty bad depending on your driving style, but most of the time it gets around 18-20 city
I almost bought one before i got my 03 dually, that also had 4 captains chairs. Think I'm gonna get one now, I've found a couple for like 12k with right at 100k on em.
I owned a 2002 HD in the Charcoal Gray color. When you were speaking of all of the HD badging on the truck..even the frit (little black dots around the perimeter of the windshield) are all little HD logos as well 👍

My stock 17 Sierra on a dyno makes 480hp and 950trq. I have stage 3 twintrubo with tune new intercooler new mainfloids intake X pipe with 7 inch pipes no muffler or cats or resonators. It's making 800hp now with 1308trq has a 8inch lift on 40s nittos. Getting it wrap soon and added raming bar. It does good off road. I pulled a 18 wheel the other day no problem. I'm getting a 2018 mustang GT500 when they come out. I'll be running into crowds in cars in coffee watch out for me it's going bright orange
I used to work at a lumber yard & had a frequent customer with one of these in the exact same color way it was the first time I saw one close enough to see the supercharger badge & I asked if it was really supercharged he said “yeah 🤷🏻♂️” he treated it like a straight work truck interior was all messy & torn up the body was in decent shape but the paint had all types of scratches & I didn’t think much of it but I saw one of these on the fb marketplace the other day & it started to grow on me but 15-20k! For a decently cared for one I couldn’t help but regret not offering to buy that one off that man & fix it up myself I don’t think he knew what he had
I've got a 99 F150 4x4 on 33's that's going to be stripped and rebuilt as a show truck, Plan on rebuilding the 5.4 all forged with the best heads I can find, and planning on putting a Kenne bell on it. 4x4 running a blower spinning all four 33's.
hey. ROOTS blowers use lobes to create compression, TWIN SCREW blowers use two threaded screws turning against each other to create compression. they sound similar on an engine and they function similarly but they are fundamentally different and not interchangeable terms
I have the same truck but a 2002 and the color scheme is black bottom Harley orange top ..change the blower out for a Whipple .cobra good.exhaust cams pulleys and a tune blacked out all the chrome and got rid of the extremely heavy wheels it comes with ..and honestly I drive it daily and it's been one of the most reliable vehicles I own ..
They are very nice trucks and they are quick. I new they were Supercharged from the start. Before the internet, I would go to the local Ford dealer ships on Sundays and look at window stickers. I still do it when the weather is nice, just to get out of the house and look at cars!

The GTP didn't seem to have hp mods, and it did keep up with a car that has 110 more hp. They're impressive for what they are, and the price you can get them for.
Bristol57 not really slow as hell lol it's 260hp and 280ft lb stock and it has a cai and I'm about to put headers on that I just got, I'll have a video of the install! But after that It has to be pushing atleast like 280hp and that's not bad for a 13year old 4 door
my buddy has one he bought new and it sadly sits in his garage with less than 45k miles all stock xcept k&n filter and tires but its still a fun truck even when compared to todays trucks esp with that whine that cant be beat
It's a huge leap when you see the difference this was from the stock 5.4 F-150 of its time and then consider every EB F-150 is making better numbers. Still hard to beat that whine but trucks are getting very quick.
Wish you were closer to Toronto Ontario cuz I'd let you drive my 91 240, it is bone stock, 5 speed manual, Ka24de. And in my opinion is probably the cleanest 240 I've ever seen.

I used to have a 2002 Ford F-150 supercrew 5.4L so I understand the "shamu" feeling 😂😂😂 mine was bone stock on all terrain tires, so gas mileage was, at best 14 mpg. I could roast the tires whenever I wanted to though, and I didn't even have the supercharger.
VHB Engines it depends on your budget supercharger is definitely easier and cheaper but Turbos will get you more power but it will most likely have to be custom made unless someone has done it before which costs a lot more. Which ever you choose best of luck you can't go wrong either way.
My uncle had the truck back in 2007 or 2008 then sold it in 2009 for a 2009 charger he had his truck just like the one in the video but he had different rim and interior since he changed it

A new 5.0 coyote f150 comes stock with more hp this had.. without a blower.. and the new aluminum truck is much lighter.. Ford has come a long way..

I like parts bin parts vehicles..it makes finding used parts much easier and cheaper when you need or want to fix or rebuild those older vehicles .
