Praying for "thisgirl" to reduce her anxiety. Keep very close to Our Lady, the Mother of Sorrows. She understands our sorrows more than anyone. Say the three Hail Marys each day in honour of Her Tears. Our Lady will help us all.

I have severe anhedonia and depression. I can't be not anxious about having no feelings, especially proper love for my children, hope for the future. So scared about feeling inhuman for the rest of my life.

@@stephani3 Sometimes anxiety and depression are cause by a physiological issue that needs medical intervention. We can pray for healing, and you're correct that nothing is impossible with God, but with respect it's not as easy as "pray hope and don't worry."

Temptations arise against purity or against faith or any other virtue, but we can easily overcome them if we humble ourselves in our hearts and say: Lord , I deserve these terrible temptations as a punishment for my pride, and if Thou comest not to my help, I shall surely fall. I feel my weakness, and that I can do no good of myself. Help me! “ Come unto my help, O’ God, O’ Lord, make haste to help me.”

Jesus I trust in You. Divine Mercy is a great devotion. We all must learn to trust in the Lord's love for each one of us. None of us realise just how much we are loved. Praying for all suffering from any form of depression.

I have severe anxiety for about 10 years now. I make an appointment to talk to my pastor, a wonderful priest, every few months. My husband has to drive me everywhere. I am anxious every time I go to Mass and worry about everything and my children. Dr.’s aren’t able to help with medications. But God is the true healer. BUT, we must give ourselves and our worries to God. Not just our worries but our whole lives with our whole heart and soul, in everything we do every day. Talk to God during the day.
God is with us all the time and knows what we are going through. We should read the spoken Word of the Scriptures daily. ( I still have a hard time with that one , but want to work on it). Say the rosary, the chaplet and spend time with God in holy hour, in Church if you can. We can meditate or just SIT and BE with Jesus who is there in the tabernacle or monstrance. Jesus is with us and is our only Savior. Father Mike Schmitz said in a video that anxiety can occur when we are focusing on ourselves, and our feelings. I remember asking my mother when she told me that she has insomnia. She said she worries , and I said about what? She said I worry about you! And I said ME? Why!?
It was also said that worrying does not solve anything if there is no result or resolution that occurs. Jesus knows what the future holds for us, and we need to surrender and give all to God. But prayer and the Word of God have power. Especially when we unite with others in prayer. We can ask God for help, but we must also pray in thanksgiving. We should always talk to the Lord and know Him. Putting your trust in God helps relieve anxiety. Go to Mass and confession, and receive the special graces that God gives us through the sacraments and the Holy Eucharist. Jesus said, I am the Bread of Life. Unless you eat My Body and drink My Blood you will have no life in you. Jesus body, blood, soul and divinity, which is truly present and alive in the Eucharist, sustains us. I still have anxiety, but I feel Gods presence especially at Mass and talking to the priest, who represents Christ. Jesus hears us and absolves us Himself during confession through the priest. Going to confession often is sooo helpful. We need to really try to connect and have a relationship with God. That is what He wants. God loves us so much more than we can even fathom! We need that first and the rest of our worries will follow, in the Hands of God. God bless you. I hope this helps. I am still trying to get to that place too. But every time I talk to a priest, I feel the comfort of God when the priest is speaking for God. I recently was crying about my problems to Father in confession about my anxiety and how terrible I feel and how I blame my husband for things and I have such a bad attitude and can be so upset and demeaning to him. I said, and I wanted to have such a good Advent! He said you are, you are here. It can be as simple as that. I felt so much better after talking to him. God is there for us, we just have to allow Him to be with us and in us. Jesus said, Do not despair! Do not be afraid! Always have hope, Jesus IS Hope and IS our salvation. We have a short time on earth. We need to give that time to God! I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but we all do. We are a broken people. But God lifts us up again and again when we have faith, believe, are penitent and have hope. The Holy Spirit dwells within us since our Baptism! God is eternal. We strive for eternal life with Him! ❤️🙏

Ave Maria! Thanks Fr. Ignatius This Sunday I was at Seven Martyrs in Mugdahaun celebrating the anniversary of the Deaths of the Seven Martyrs of Thailand. The Mass was in Thai Language. I had no idea what the reading were. I was video taping the Homily of Archbishop Anthony and the Archbishop Peter Bryan Wells his talk was thanking the Archbishop Anthony for being there and he was representing Rome and the Holy Father Pope Francis regarding the Seven Martyrs to become Saints hopefully by next year 2025. His Talk was in The English language the Archbishop did not speak The Thai language. Hopefully the Miraculous Medals will be made in the Thai language to spread out to the Thai people everywhere! In the world. If our Lady wants she will have to touch the people who are in charge of this undertaking Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Pray for us.

Blessed Christmas: YOU CAN NO LONGER FEAR ME!
Pope Benedict XVI: “God’s sign is simplicity. God’s sign is the baby. God’s sign is that he makes himself small for us. This is how he reigns. He does not come with power and outward splendor. He comes as a baby - defenseless and in need of our help. He does not want to overwhelm us with his strength. He takes away our fear of his greatness. He asks for our love: so he makes himself a child. He wants nothing other from us than our love, through which we spontaneously learn to enter into his feelings, his thoughts and his will - we learn to live with him and to practice with him that humility of renunciation that belongs to the very essence of love. God made himself small so that we could understand him, welcome him, and love him. God, who has become a child, says to us: you can no longer fear me, you can only love me.”
