Not looking at the cars’ history, title, recalls, and aftermarket modifications and simply saying some models are great, reliable, buy-now cars is irresponsible. There’s a reason why a car on online listings is cheap to the point it’s too good to be true. Viewers should absolutely complete their homework before making a purchase decision.
the 2016 v6 tlx is NOT reliable it has a rod bearing issue on the v6 model , this can cause catastrophic engine failure and then you're reliability is out the door
Like we really needed your lazy video to focus on Honda, Toyota or Mazda products. Tell us something we don't already know. But you won't, because that would require actual work.
I have a 2015 gs. With 100k miles. I am selling it around the summer. I'm asking 15k. The car is in perfect condition. With slight paint chips on bumper from natural wear. But nothing you can see without looking close. The color is White on the outside inside peanut butter. Drivers seat maybe 4 wrinkles. Almost perfect condition. All other seats look brand new. No issues with the car. kept in a garage I'm the 3rd owner. It was babied before i had it, and i baby it till this day. Every record is available since the day i got it. And nobody touches the car but lexus. Every scheduled maintenance on time. I'm about to go in for another. The car has never given me a single issue. The only things i have replaced were tires.
Just recently bought a 2014 Lexus GS 350 for $14k with 130,000 miles. Took it to get a pre-purchase inspection and they couldn't find anything wrong so I had to jump on it. Looks amazing, drives amazingly smooth, has surprising features for a 2014, and can bank on the reliability.

I rely on my 2015 n/a 3.7L Infiniti Q50 and my 2014 n/a 3.5L ford taurus. They float my boat. 70k on the q50, had more issues with it than my taurus with 185k. @Rickscorpio4 It's not cheap if it is the V8 5.0, though it is the most reliable V8. I viewed a video that Ford back engineered a Nissan GTR. They found out that Nissan didn't add cylinders, and just mirror polished the Bore. I had the Ecoboost I call the EcoTragic. It had 2 different engines before 60,000 miles. We get 5-7 feet of snow every winter so driving an AWD or 4WD vehicles are a Must. Thankfully both of our Subaru’s are 2019 year models. My wife’s Outback has only 32K miles and my Forester Touring only has 15K miles. Our 4WD Ford Ranger XLT super cab pickup has just 36K miles. I became disabled when I was only 43 years old, so I simply don’t drive very much anymore. Our pickup is mainly used for work around our property, so we usually drive it about 1,500 to 2K miles a year. I’m a maintenance freak so I change the oil and filter on our Ranger every 6 months, which is about 1K to 1,500 miles. In 21, I bought my wife her 19 Outback for her 50th birthday. It was a lease return and had only 5,600 miles. She had driven her Camry for 18 years. 3-4 months every year she had to park her Camry because of our snow pack, so she would drive my RAV4 Limited 4WD and I’d drive our Ford. I change the oil and filter on our Subaru’s every 5K miles and have the tires rotated. When our Ranger hit 30K miles I had the front and rear differential, transfer case and transmission fluid changed, as well as the radiator was back flushed and I installed new antifreeze. My RAV4 was 13 years old when I sold it and bought my Forester. As long as our vehicles are in good condition, we keep driving them. Sure I’d Love to buy a new Tacoma pickup 4WD Limited but not for $60K to $70K for a new one. In 19, weeks needed to replace our worn out Ranger 4WD pickup, when I came across our current 2011 Ranger. It had only 20K miles and we paid $18K for it. According to KBB, it booked out for $26K, but we bought it for $18K as the original owner had just bought a new F150 and no longer needed our Ranger. Today it books out for $22K. Our Ranger will be the last pickup that we’ll ever have to own, as it’ll easily go another 200K miles. We’ll be dead and gone long before it’s worn out.
The skyactiv engines are one of the most reliable engines you can buy. I know because my commuter is a 2013 mazda 3 hatch and it's got 223,000 miles with no issues
I am not dumbing 15k + on a vehicle that has over 200k matter what it is 🤦♂️
Yep, you can have 200k civic or fit for 5k, that IS Cheap, 15k is not cheap.
What good mileage on a used car?
Entirely depends on the car but I'd say the average car is at the back end of it's lifespan by 200k miles@@MotherGoose325

Toyota owns 5.1 percent of Mazda. The quality is usually very good with Mazda.

Slight correction. The 2016 TLX is not available with 390hp, it's actually 290hp from the V6.

How about something WITHOUT a CVT? Hate those things.

Yeah, Mazda still makes 6-speed real automatic transmissions. Also, their 2.5L 4-cyl will likely outlast other makes' 4-cyl turbo engines.

Going all around country for the random price. Most of cars, especially older one have twisted mileage
Acura would have a HP rating of 290 at the most, not even the Type S has 390
How can I ensure the seller isn’t faking the mileage ?
