These are beautiful builds, no doubt, but the black drapes sure aren't working for the intended effect of "floating islands". It just looks like a group of builds standing on a table. You should try blue drapes, made from velour or some shiny material, and then spread cotton or some similar material over the empty areas. Or better yet, create a mirrored surface using those cheap rolls to cover windows and then add the cotton. The effect will be partial reflections between the cotton.
