    I like how they actually kept they sirens as bird women. Most modern depictions incorrectly make them mermaids. The giant characters and the underwater area was neat.

      The sirens in the odyssey are actually harpies.

    • @SporkSlayer
      @SporkSlayer 4 роки тому +3

      Technically mermaids are fish with legs.

    • @firstname7020

      Yeah I always thought the sirens were supposed to be harpies.

      Godzilla Gamer So Odysseus named himself Noman/nobody so when he was killing a cyclops the cyclops cried out "NOMAN IS HURTING ME" so the other cyclops didn't know about Odysseus and then he said his name and Polyphemus tried to attack him.

    I love the detail of all of the minifigs using brown weapons, to symbolize the fact that participants of the Trojan War would have used bronze weaponry as the War is largely dated to the latter end of the Bronze Age.

    I only like this because I've ready it, and watched the vintage adaptation of film. I'm not into Greek mythology but when it's pressed on by a teacher it kicks into the groove, I like Revolutionary War in class far more then other topics, especially Boston related histories and incidents

    Just some clarification: The Isle of Circe was where Odysseus and his crew were turned into pigs, the Isle of Calypso is where he spent seven years as her lover

    • @kai7050
      @kai7050 3 роки тому +1

      Odysseus sent a scouting Team, when he arrives Aiaia. All of this scouting men until one was turnt into pics by Circe, because she thought, that this are pirates, who want to steal and to rape her. Hermes gave Odysseus because of that the flower Moly, which inhibit a transformation. Circe swear dont do evil things with them and let the tranformated men turn back and all of them were guests in her house during a year. In this time Circe fall in love with Odysseus, but he desided to leave her to finish his travel. So Circe helped him by sending him into the Hades, where he should Teiresias after the coming way. Also Circe warn him of the Sirenes, Skyla and Charybdis and not to eat the sacred cows of Helios. After he left her she bear Odyseeus son.
