I just started watching you maybe a month ago, just now realizing you're in Michigan. I'm just across the lake in Wisconsin! Pretty appropriate this is the video you posted considering my sister just bought a new property in Milwuakee, and I'm actually visiting there this weekend to metal detect it! Another great spot on residential properties I've always had luck with is by trees. Most houses always have that one big tree planted somewhere, lots of people sitting under them for shade, kids climbing them or playing around them, and sometimes they even had swings attached. I tried detecting on the foundation of an old building here, I onlypulled up square nails, I plan to head back there and detect around away from the foundation, its a publicpark now but ive never actually seen anyone there, theres no benches or play equipment, just some 100 year old trees

Those trees are potential hot spots.
