[SFM Creepypasta] Emergency Alert System
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 жов 2024
- On a Friday night like any other, relaxing in front of the TV, an Emergency Alert System message would warn of something terrible coming.
Thank you for watching! This SFM was a little different compared to the others since I didn't use an already written story or anything like that, so if the pacing was a bit off, that would be the reason why. This one was heavily inspired by all the EAS creepy videos out there, and I thought I'd animate an actual situation like that. - Розваги
No way you can't feel bad for the main character, he was just chillin drinking some coca cola.
he had been lied to :(
@@Codename_KayC not entirely bc he did acknowledge it was there
And he DIDNT RECYCLE IT
oh no....
something bad is about to happen to the main character
He is going to die
I love the small interactions that actually feel human, attention to detail and taking time to animate will always amaze me.
exactly! the hesitation to open the blinds a second time, him scrambling to find somewhere to go, the glances down when the eas mentions altered objects
He even celebrates when he gets the Coca Cola into the bin first try. I do the same thing when I score it into the bin lol
@@uri_9158. that small, but important detail really makes this feel real
So true and people wonder why horror movie victims move so slow sometimes
Well, when he took the cola from fridge then he just started drinking it inatead of opening it
Well done on this! I love that the Main Character actually listens to the warning instead of just ignoring it and hiding or running. Its a nice play on the situation and there is a lot of suspense when you see the main character shaking violently. Can't wait for you next video!
agreed :)
Yeah but hes still dumb, like you were doing so good why did you take your eyes off of the tv?
@@NuhashTheHash Simple. It's time. he didn't have enough time to prepare for whatever was coming. all he knows is the ominous message he saw from the tv. combined with the door breaking can really mess with your concentration.
I just cuss at it.
@@sneezer8620 I would pretend that I'm sleeping
I love the fact that he has a curious factor to where he can’t ignore and a paranoid factor just shows some of humanity’s features.
I mean I would be curious about this too.
Now…I might send someone else to look FOR me but…
Y'know I'm kind of getting annoyed at people calling the Main Character dumb for acknowledging the creature- I mean you would too. He remains quiet, he listens to the tv, and was actually respectably brave when the monster was banging on the door, yet when you've got a monster right next to you, you'd probably slip up and stare. Amazing work
Yes! Fear of the unknown is a big play here. Even though we the audience see the monster, our protagonist doesn't. And the most realistic reaction is likely looking at it. It's not like you could just act along with the ominous TV message literally 30 seconds before the monster enters in. That's obviously super unrealistic. We're all human after all. We get curious.
Agreed, sometimes curiousity wins the best of us. He was in fear and an instict probably told him to look as he tries his best to avoid it pretending everything was fine, but in the end he accidentally stared at it before looking away, but it had caught him already.
@@HanabiSh1 we fear what we don’t know
How the heck could we win this game? I mean, the monster just keep look at the man so closed, it really wouldn't kill him if he just act like it isn't there?
If it's true, I would pretend that I didn't see it, so I'll get up, turn the television off, go to the coach and sleep, so I will have a lullaby to closed my eyes. I'm pretty sure that the monster will kill me even if I play it perfectly, but I'm not sure
@@HablaGino pretend you're sleep or at least hide somewhere instead of just standing in an open area.
Imagine instead of sitting and letting the monster get in, you just assert dominance with a Source A-Pose
Better yet a ar 15
@@pz1007 Amen to that
@@Recklesphoenix amen brother
Personally a T pose would work better. It's pretty good for asserting dominance too.
furry detected: opinion ignored.
I agree with all the positive comments everyone else is leaving on this - but on top of that, I actually found the monster reveal to be creepy as all hell! The size of the thing, the way it just hung there in front of him... I don't know, it just hit right for me. I guess I get immersed in stuff like this real fast, and it's easy for me to imagine how I'd feel if I had to sit still and act natural while that thing is hovering in front of me, but even then I think that speaks to the strengths of your presentation.
Excellent stuff as always.
Idk, might be the red texture making it look goofy as hell but it ain't that scary
@@bucketbutters866 It actually isn't that scary so i agree with you, but if it is in real life that's where it's actually scary.
@@bucketbutters866 “The goofy flying red skull”
How did it even fit in there without tearing through several door frames?
It looks very similar to another monster design ive seen from trevor henderson, probably just coincidence tho.
1:58 h-he closed the blinds back?
An actual smart creepypasta character?!
Real?!?
Is this actually happening!?? He’s actually…F-following the rules?!
And even though he was smart, he still died.
Miracles happen folks… A broken clock is destined to be right once a day.
The Thing had smart horror movie characters who still died.
I clicked this not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised at how good and downright scary this was. the constant building dread of what is out there is flawless. The only bad thing I can say is if you had not shown the monster and kept it in a 1st person view the entire time, it would have been a better end. Leave the design of whatever horror did all this too the imagination because the mind can come up with something much more scary without seeing the monster.
Thank you so much! 🙏
idk about that, if I don't know what it looks like its pretty hard to be scared of it for me. mainly because my mind isn't the greatest at making up designs and so it can't really imagine anything.
I will agree that you should hide the monster until the very end but not showing it at all doesn’t work on everyone and will end up wondering why they should be scared most times.
My favorite horror movie is the Blair witch but a ton of people hate it as well.
@@shitanotosaurusi can see what you mean, but the concept and animation is still amazing
Not showing the monster is cliche and overused, same with "SIKE it was all a dream... DOUBLE SIKE that's not a dream"
Ah yes, my greatest fear. A creepy disembodied voice coming from my television telling me that I’m in immediate danger in which I cannot control the circumstances. Love that.
bro is onto something
Brimming with tension and atmosphere, handled with a subtle finesse. Beautifully captures the paranoid fears the imagination conjures up when thinking of EAS tones.
Like, y’know when you’re chilling and just hear that EAS alarm? It gives you that scary feeling
C'mon man, you did such an AMAZING job at keeping horror in a viewer until you showed the actual creature at the very end! The scariest thing is in our own imagination. You shouldn't have shown the creature especially when it's SFM. I felt pressure on my chest this whole video! And then that silly red head showed up, all the pressure immediately was put away by laughter.
BUT it's still such a GREAT work really really really well done! I'm really happy I found your channel and I REALLY hope you will do more such animations! Or whatever you want, you have really cool ideas!
That's probably a fault with the creepypasta. Not the animator.
Honestly I was inspired by a lot of indie horror shorts I watched where they tend to show the monster for a few seconds at the end. I figured that if I didn't do it too, it might have been disappointing. Then again it's kind of difficult to come with an idea for a monster by yourself especially when you suck at modeling lol. I'll definitely keep that in mind for next time, thanks for the feedback!
@@Surkee I think it'd have been a good idea to show the thing, but vaguely, like unfocused or something like that!
@@Surkee I really love your style of animating. I enjoy these animations a lot. My favorite is the trapped in a bathroom one!
@@martinnieva8484 he did, when the guy watched out the curtains and behind him while looking in the fridge
I live in the countryside, one of the most haunted forest in finland is very near my home. I've went there a couple of times. There's no animals in sight, no bird chirping or even mosquitos in summer. When i went there with my friends i drove trough the forest. I started smelling a strong metallic smell and looked on the road there were candles on the side of the road. I continued further and i saw someone moving on the road i stopped and it was some man. I asked him what was he doing and does he need a ride. He Said he's good and continued walking.
What kind of titanium balls are you carrying around to speak to that man AND offer him a ride?

Do you know what I love the most about YOUR videos? How well you animate, and that you use realistic models, not TF2's ones. That's some love for art right there. Thank you very much!
These models are from Half-Life 2
@@Stongg Yes, I'm aware!
Yeah, tf2 is supposed to be cartoony.
@@vreikezen8268 yes, those models suck so much for these videos!
@@martinnieva8484 Yeah. As much as I love TF2 it makes no sense to use the mercenaries in a creepypasta. They’re just not something anyone would associate with horror.
I always love how every emergency alert system horror story starts with a relatively ominous warning about something and gives you fairly basic to follow instructions. And then at the end the government or whatever took control of the government is basically telling everybody the entire nation and possibly world is screwed lol. It's not the most realistic take but it is certainly funny.
One of the worst fears to experience is the fear that something is horribly wrong. That somewhere out there, something *could* happen to you, but there's no guarantee. This is the fear of emergency alert systems. That tight, constricting anxiety that makes you want to run, but knowing that running could not help, the fear that things will never be the same, the fear that you aren't safe. That the comforts of home can't protect you. That the only thing you could do is to follow instructions, hide, and pray.
you deserve a bigger audience these are so fun to watch I'm over here falling off my damn seat lmaoo
Thank you!
@@Surkee bro you should be pulling in millions of views with vids like these the amount of detail I'd amazing
2:44 - "I'm honestly surprised you're still reading this lol"
I was curious lmao
But this is a great animation and it gave me the chills. I like how human you make these characters seem, even through text

@@toastedprocastinator nah it was the guy from the new fortnite update
Why did I not get freaked out until I saw that octopus post @ 2:42?
That's a blue ringed octopus, one of the most venomous creatures on the planet
holy shit your right, two years later.
The Half-Life 2 models are perfect for this. There is just something about their faces that makes you empathize with them significantly more than models from other video games.
It might be the fact that the faces are textured off of real people, removing the “uncanny valley” factor and making them more human because, well, they are
@@theclockman775also source was made with facial expression in mind, none of that auto generated bethesda crap
no?
i absolutely love this, the suspense, smooth animation, the humanization of the main character (like pumping his fist when he lands the soda can in the trash) and just the looming sense of dread. keep up the good work!
im at a loss for words to how scary this was, until the big red skull showed up. nice SFM! please continue making more!
I like how instead of just trying to avoid the Emergency Alert System, he is actually concerned for his own safety and listens to the instructions. True warrior!
You can tell when a horror is a good one, you can see how the background and story is told, and the sense of uncanny. It makes you think how you would feel/do in that kind of situation. I'm looking forward to seeing more
8:57
My mom when i accidentally swear
why is it a goat skull but why is it color red?
i love the amount of realism with the fact that he even started bouncing his leg because he was getting impatient or the way his facial expressions change whenever the second alarm went off
I must say, this was a fantastic video. The suspense of what would happen was great and it only showed what happened from his perspective and helped illustrate how hopeless things might have been and the unknown of what was happening.
These are good, thank you for putting your time into this
there were so many mistakes this guy made
1. didnt cover his windows, to add insult to injury he kept looking out of them
2. didnt barricade his door
3. didnt find a hiding place (hell, hiding under the bed wouldve been better than just standing there)
4. shouldve actually pretended that the monster didnt exist (thanks sebastian peep)
theres probably more, just reply and i might add them
Trying to pretend that there isn't a random floating red skull next to you would be extremely difficult to do
@@bucketbutters866 Agreed! I'd like to point out the tv in this scene. It's a small detail but I love it. he hears the monster roaming in. it is extremely dark. the only light is the thing he is focusing on. the tv. which has nothing on it. just a small bit of light. but he cant concentrate because of the atmosphere. The door being broken down from what he can only assume to be the monster, a small bit of light with nothing that would be able to distract your mind with, and the breathing of the monster. that would be hard to ignore. which is why I like that he got caught in the end. it's realistic. he just saw the ominous message from the tv which not even 10 seconds later "it" would come in. and when the door was banging he had so little time to find a place to hide before he even knew what to do.
he did pretend the monster wasnt there, he just screwed up and lost himself for a second, i know from experience that if you try to look at something without turning your head, you might eventually just lose yourself for a sec and start looking towards it dead on, which is probably what happened there
you could've also instead of finding a hiding spot, just have closed your eyes atleast and pretend your sleeping to atleast stay alive for a little longer than most
@@NoobGaming-op3ob good idea
Every time the screen goes black, I see my own reflection, and I cannot help myself but wonder, was I the real monster all along? Great video as always bdw!
Bro what 😭😭
That sounds like something a pokemon npc would say
Against my will I stand beside my own reflection (my own reflection)
I'm surprised with how great this actually is, the fiction and specially the animation are creepy as heck! I love it, well done
The ending could go differently for those who are blind or deaf.
If you are blind, you can just, I don't know, do nothing I guess when it arrives.
If you are deaf, continue to ignore it, while looking away, so then if it makes a sound, you cannot hear it therefore you can ignore it.
Or if you've been gaming all night in the basement, it gets in, you never notice a thing.
Love it! Only real complaint is that the monster at the end was somewhat goofy. Thr atmosphere was especially well done.
I think it would of added to the horror if it just didn't ever even show the monster
@@CRT_YT kinda like bird box.
@@Beterperter there is no monster in bird box, the outside is the MONSTER itself
@@OfficialFrenchGovernment I personally believe that the bird box monster is rather a lovecraftian monster and humans simply kill themselves upon looking at it because they cannot comprehend infinity. but your opinion is your opinion and i respect that.

Im joking the entire vid is amazing(and fucking terrifying) great job
Jesus Christ, this is probably one of the scariest things I’ve watched in a very long time. Im impressed! You did an amazing job working on this
The most terrifying thing is, this is completely possible, although I'd like to think improbable. If highly advanced aliens, or perhaps monsters from another dimension, just decided to show up one day without warning, what could we really do about it?
G U N
"SFM Creepy". I agree. that program scares me
Havent been around for that long butt i love these stories and i'm watching it right now lol.
man, i loved this so much, and the fact that overnight it had "taken over everything" is so scary to me, like it's only one and it managed to do this much damage in a single night and it's just.aaaaaaaa
only thing i didn't really like about it is the ending, the monster is a good design yeah but i think it would've been better to not have it that up close, but as someone else said horror is subjective and to other people it being shown makes it terrifying
Man, I love anomalies! That was done on a S+++ level, as always!
Finally a smart protagonist I’ll be sure to keep up with your other stuff

I wish there were more people like u that would make videos like this. SFM horror vids are genuinely amazing.
The monster looks pretty goofy, but good job anyway
I love this, my one and only critique is showing the monster at the end, I feel that if the monster itself was never shown then it would have been more scary wondering what the monster is rather than knowing what it is. Aside from that one thing, great work, I love the life like actions that the main character does and I feel sympathetic for him.
ah so the monster used weirdly textured things to see if you will react to it if you do then it attack's you like placebo effect but deadly
This is actually pretty scary for an sfm animation. Very well executed.
This makes me really miss my days when i used to make little animations on sfm, really wish i knew how to upload them to yt back then
the attention to detail about the fact that the main character didn't survive to tell the story is amazing
even if it is accidental it's amazing
I was expecting the entity to not be shown on screen, or maybe at least only shown it's shadow to make it mysterious. Nope, it was a freaking red floating cow skull. Bruh
get used to it.
NICE I love these SFM horror stories I wish people made more of these.
Honestly, this story would have been way scarier if we never saw what it looked like. I kinda laughed when I saw it and it broke the immersion. Super cool atmosphere though!

That was actually terrifying, I can hear my heart thumping, but it was amazing, the fact that the guy listened to the EAS instead of being stupid and trying to fight it, and the fact that he died just like most would, 10 out of 10 best horror animation.
when it made a tapping noise i was so scared because it was only coming out of one side of my headphones and i thought it was tapping on my chair

In 2:44 if you go frame by frame the last comment in the video said "I'm honestly surprised you're still reading this lol" indicating we basically wasted our time lol
4:26 looks like dumbledore is back
gotta love how smart the main guy was until the end. like if it was 8pm CHECK THE LIGHTS like the sun still illuminates during night time. and day time. the way to know around this is to check the lights. not the lights in your house but the lights illuminating around your Window. this will help saving your ass. like cmon it's so obvious to.

no cap laughed when he took that tv remote and yeeted it
I love how you gave him life in a way, he has to move up to drink his soda, when he looks his whole body moves, a lot of gmod animators make the character seem robotic, but your character moves naturally.
My point is that this is really good
Thanks for the kind words! I considered trying a more simple animation style since this smooth one needs a looot of detail which I am not good enough yet to make
