The New CS2 Era Is Here
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 кві 2024
- International rosters are everywhere in Counter-Strike now, we’ve got 33-year-olds facing off against 17-year-olds, and a roster with an average age under 20 comfortably made Top 8 at Copenhagen.
The team names might seem familiar, but increasingly a new generation is stepping up to the plate in this beautiful game.
So now that the PGL Copenhagen Major is comfortably in the rear view mirror, we think it’s fair to ask: are we in a new era of competitive Counter-Strike?

Karrigan plays till 35 and aleksib to 40
nah. in terms of overall impact and value karrigan and aleksiB are both about equal, it may not look like that now because of faze losing the major and throwing against astralis in chengdu, but remember that aleksi also had bad games as well.
@@imalemon3841 Agent 0.07 (KD) had one bad game on Inferno and will be taunted for life
@@JunkerWhoop what makes it worse is that it was in a major grandfinal
@@JunkerWhoopliterally no1 would’ve cared if he didn’t act so cringe after every round win during the whole tournament.
@@javice8589 It's not even that cringe
I'm 34 and i can definitely tell i'm getting older with gaming. My reaction time is slowly getting worse, my vision is slowly getting worse and i can't concentrate on a game for very long anymore like i could as a teenager. The worst thing is that i still think and feel like i can play the same as i could back in the days but i can't and that makes me sorta disappointed in myself, not a great feeling.
As much as we get older, its fine to be bad at it and think of it to play casually. We'll never be forever in our prime and thats fine. Thats what i told myself at least
Honestly I’m 25 and I think it’s just due to us having jobs man. I can only DM until 300 kills and play 3 FaceIt matches before I have to go to bed to get ready for work in the morning. These kids literally have 12 hour days on the game bro.
I'm fairly sure I was following a webinar about gaming and age and that it's more you having different lives than when you were kids, not as much time as when you were young. Reaction really isn't that much worse at the age of 30.
I feel you brother, 33 year old here. I was above average before even no practice, i just play and dominate but that was 3 years ago. Joints on my fingers are hurt just for couple of games.
Unless you are gaming pro .. why does it bother you ?
I am 41, recently got an eye glass .. still I regularly play CS , enjoy the game and can kill to be placed at 3rd place often.
You getting old is not the problem for you.
You are not having fun .. that is the problem.
Sycrone also directly coached xertion, Sihuy and Torzi when they were part of the NXT core. Insane chemistry.
Asia, Australia and CN CS are at a disadvantage because there's not enough top tier teams to scrim
Flyquest(Australian team) said they didnt know what to do vs VP because there was no one to scrim with
i really hope they bootcamp in EU or something
they did bootcamp EU
there is no way to even play the game as a casual, premier has a cheater in every lobby above 15k ELO, Faceit is dogshit service with steam lvl 0 and 60h played players smurfing in every 2nd game and they are not getting banned.
What good is it that we have a good game if we cannot even play it?
@@BeowulfGaming +1. I have to boot up Faceit everytime I want to play a game, the community servers are so hard to use too.
@@BeowulfGaming faceit hasn't been too bad in lvl 8/9. I got 19.5k in premier then had a cheater literally 10+ in a row and haven't touch it since. Premier is awful, mm is just as bad even in low ranks. I can't even understand MM cheaters. I'm silver on anubis and have cheaters every game. I can kinda understand high elo premier cheating (It's super lame but they're cheating to get on the leaderboard) but what are they even doing in MM lmao. Trying to grind to nova on Anubis? It's so weird
This is why even though I love Counter-Strike, as for the pro scene, I look more to the other game (aka VALORANT) since my region is more well-represented in that game than CS. At least I have teams to look up to than some random teams that I'm not even a fan of.
I watched more VALORANT pro matches than CS pro matches recently. I watch CS probably only the highlights and not a full match.
We need VETERAN league for 30+ players
this would be so fun to watch. Imagine some 50 y/o Faceit 10 who just pops off
imagine neo and taz playing again and the league is for 1.6/source
I would PAY to watch the vets go at it
Counter Strike is like futbol “soccer” when you really think about formations, coaches, plays, reading the map “field” and the most important thing very passionate game.
We need more new gwnerations of pure tier one level IGLs ngl like Siuhy. Before him it was Aleksi’s generation before him it’s Karrigan Glaive and Fallen generation
You guys are about 8 months behind the community
Can u guys make the “Top 10 Mic Drops in Esports / Fighting Games History”?
Counter Strike truly a multigenerational esport
I really hoped for new era of anti cheat ...
Real…
lovin the chimo stash bud
Did you mean chomo?
Nothing is changing except for the rate of hackers in my premier games
True 🤣
The new era started years ago. When Get right, forest, Friberg, Pasha, neo and others like them retired.
jimi is future goat of cs
Facts!🎉
Not until a proper anti cheat is added to mm, and most the basic game modes from cs:go return. I’ve only been playing FACEIT recently.
Fire posters in the back there 🔫
Sugestion for future vid , show ppl how to get into esports if they want to pursue it as a career.
Donk has 13k hours on CS, get there first then find amateur team from ur city, win the local tournaments, be good, and professional org will eventually find ur name
Sadly there wont be any filipino CS 2 pro anytime soon. Since most people are still stock at v1.3
Broooo with my 23 years i am feeling already old after watching this video, i started playing CSGO since 2013

Don't forget the only region that's actually putting effort into their tier2/3 is EU.
A LEAGUE FOR 30+ CS GO GAMERS
Man this channel used to be good. Now they just report on old stuff and make stuff up
Monesy to spirit and u got top 1 team
Bro you need to do voiceover work and read books-on-tape
The future of Counter Strike is ours for the taking
if there is a lot of money to be made playing cs2, korea would take over lol. but for now nothing can come even close to league of legends.

Cheater Strike 2, let's go
Tbh internal teams are prob better because there countries actually push for esports and young players always been a thing younger players can learn the game better then older players that’s just a normal thing overtime the skill celling will get higher younger player can learn faster while even scriming against pros
MOUZ avg age 20.5
no, we are not. Young players always existed and national roster will always be inherently better. there just arent enough IGLs currently
International teams won 3 out of last 5 majors after the pandemic. Your view is outdated.
Also if you look at other esports there are already successful international teams. In Dota 2 in Europe there are almost all teams international. In Valorant it is a mixture but Fnatic that won two out of three events last year is international. If the people are able to speak good enough English you do not need national teams.
@@koala-ytt Don't see how that outdates my point. The team considered best in the world is a national one. The complete lack of tier 2 tournaments is what caused international teams. Now that T2 lans are coming back in 2025 national teams with proper IGLs will prop back up. Speaking mother tongue is an inherent advantage.
@@funkerman7 National teams only make sense for regions like CIS and Brazil. If you look at the trend you'll see international teams just have a larger talent pool to work with. Case in point 60% of current HLTV top 10 are international.
This is faded. I’d be willing to bet a lot of money the top teams stay international. No scene is just build different enough to just take over like places like Denmark did in the past
theScore esports, I loved this video so much, I had to hit the like button!
Its beautiful because every pro game dont have cheaters.... this game is done.
While young NA players are all planting the spikes in valorant
Who even respects NA tho? It's the worst region for every game.
@@somebodyanonymous5725 lol I mean yeah but, I remember when we won a major and then when we won a grand slam. Hate all you want but NA has plenty of fans

I just had to look up that game it was so long ago. bugging me. Pun intended. It was called FIREFALL. omg it was horrible.
Wut
"BEAUTIFUL GAME" a game infested with cheaters for YEARS btw
Dont play mm at all
Pc gaming
@@vortexcs2984 yeah, the game is stupid. There's actually way less cheaters in nonprime mm than in prime lol says a lot about the game
Donk looks grotesque
The new era will come when valve adds an anti-cheat
Yes its new era of cheaters and even cs2 crashes in tournament what a tragedy for virtus pro and loose qualifiers against g2
Ah yes the new era of 15k+ premiere cheating. Of course. Nothing and literally nothing's changed lmao.
I tested a game couple decades ago. It was from Red5 studio. It was sorta helldivers 2. It was MMORPG with crafting and jet packs. It was so boring fighting bugs. I cant look at helldivers 2 and not have flashbacks of the most boring game that never saw the light of day.
simple gonna retire and go to valorant
not even close
scuffed eyebrows
new era of getting cheated.
the only way to get a clean game these days is to be a pro on lan.
unfortunate circumstances? ruzzian teams do not have the right to play in such tournaments. Either under a neutral flag and without sponsors as at the Olympics or let them sit in their swamp.
also a new era of cheaters
Copied Launders video lmao
I'm glad racism is coming back into CS and can live alongside international teams
Long live racism
Shoutout daddy launders
Yes the era of cheaters and bootlicking lazy developers
The cheating Era
talking about karrigan like he didn't go 1-15 :3
and the whole video is the point of why french cs died. Nobody wants to develop young talent (just KRL with GEN ONE). Vitality is a good example tho. Taking misutaaa and kyojin, 2 young player with 0 experience and hoping it's going to work. Such a stupid thing. AND DON'T TALK ABOUT zywoo. He is on the french scene since he is 12.
This is why children should be required to grow up before they are put on the public stage. They might be good but they are still spoiled brats
Yes, era of 85% cheaters, 8% of people who deleted, and 7% of people who never cheated.
FUCK CS2
🤣 You guys are almost as bad as Apple, the way you talk about old stuff like its shocking and new.
majority russian and highlights the only ukranian

Future of CS2…. CS2 currently has no future. Hope it dies ngl
Flashbacks to when this same shit was often said during the first 2 years of CSGO
History's repeating again
People been saying this since 2018 btw
@@whatsbrosayin People have been saying this since CS 1.6 lol. CS has a proven formula that works and is actually great because you don't really need to update the core mechanics to keep it alive. The smoke mechanic introduced in CS2 was the biggest change to the game since the molotov was introduced in CSGO back in 2012. Virtually no other game can do this and is a testament to what makes CS so great.
