1. Better sensitivity of Corona of the Glans
2. Earlier recovery
3. Religious concerns
4. Preservation of foreskin for coverage during erections
Partial circumcision is often recommended by urologists for this problem but it has very high risk of recurrence of phimosis.
Scar ring that forms after partial circumcision itself can contract and lead to phimosis again and again. Sometimes this phimosis is worse than original phimosis.
Inturned preputial circumcision is the answer to these problems and we now have experience with more than 1200 cases of IPC with no chances of recurrence. Simple technique ensures that outer foreskin doubles up to form the new ring without any scars. All scars lie within just behind the corona.

Sir with Scalpel or Laser. It is technically not possible to do this surgery with Staplers like ZSR or Axon
