Hello Guys, here i comes with the new video, which is apartment tour in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada for new immigrants. In this video i have explained everything with the real tour that what kind of apartment a new immigrant can get in downtown, or surrounding downtown areas at what price.
When i moved here in 2019, i can remember my real struggle of finding an apartment as a new immigrant when no one knows you, no one is there to guide you, what places should a new immigrant choose to settle down in the initial days. Because you need a place where you can easily access all the basic needs nearby.
So i have tried to cover everything from my experiences in this guide for new comers who are about to land here in Saskatoon.

My suggestions for new immigrants to check these areas in your initial days, because you won't be having a car, and you need to get the local transit frequently.
So my first preference is :
Main street,
7th street,
8th street.
(All these locations are near to all the public transits/bus stops, grocery stores, banks, walking clinics, food outlets, schools etc.)
If you are considering downtown, because you may visit some settlement agencies here frequently,
so my suggested locations near downtown are :
Broadway
Nutana
In Downtown, consider these locations :
2nd Avenue North
3rd Avenue North
4th Avenue North
5th Avenue North
6th Avenue North
Third suggestion would be :
Kingsmere Boulevard
Lakeview
Tayler Street
Preston Avenue South
Stonebridge
In case you are a student or wants to live near University of Saskatchewan
You can consider :
College Drive,
University Drive,
Cumberland Avenue

You will find similar apartments somewhere between these price ranges:
1-BED- $700 to $800
2-BED-$900 to $1050
Luxury apartments would cost between $1100 to $1300 (approx)

and these are just my suggestions guys for initial time period, you can choose according to your preference and ofcourse you can move according to your work locations later on anywhere.

Just a thought ... I was born and raised in Saskatoon so I don't really know ... but I would think that new immigrants might contact the Open Door Society which is located on First Avenue North, across the street from CTV TV. I would imagine that they would be of help in navigating the ins and outs of getting things done in Saskatoon. Also ... a great big welcome to all who come to Saskatoon to start a new and hopefully better life.
Pls we need more youtubers from Saskatchewan that will communicate to a wider audience in English.

7th 8th Streets should always be avoided i guess as these are notorious areas.

The rental housing market in Montreal is so so expensive and horrible,any places renting now for under $1250 .00 have to many problems,from bad noise levels to smokers and pot next door,cockroachs,mold,landlords all charging high prices for dirty apartments,in the last 3 years had to move 3 times do to these problems,just horrible high rents in Montreal,so hard to find a good place to live in Montreal anymore.

It varies apartment to apartment. Generally, most of them have heat and water included with at least one parking space but in some buildings you have to pay for parking. Thanks and stay connected.
