I agree that’s why I think my criteria is more specific because to be honest I don’t care for a lot of them or I wouldn’t add them to my collection but I think they are still beautiful. I also agree that a lot of them look alike lol and yes they do seem more expensive compared to aroids.
I find hoyas to be at least in my region mealy bug magnets. So I stay away from them, though I absolutely love them. I have only one, a very large linearis which knock on wood has yet to be attacked. Love your plants and so happy you are posting more regularly.
So good to see you again! Love all the plants in this video! Always enjoy any video with Hoyas in them. 🙂. I think it would be great if you could break up the video into several parts. Thank you for this video! 👌🪴🥰
@@RootingMindfully thank you too! 🥰 I’m enjoying watching the growth progression. My Linearis were barely rooted cuttings when I got them, but are now trailing 2 months later! 🤯 so fast! But it’ll be lovely when it’s full & looong too 🤩
Yay we more hoyas! They are pretty hardy, and so many to choose from. Can’t wait to see what other hoyas/plants you got coming. Would be good to break them up I think!
Lol I just hope the second one doesn’t snort, snore or grunt as much as he does. I don’t think I could take two of them. And he talks back. Lol and those facial expressions smh
My Poor Tineke... HE'S One Of My Plant OGs.... SO He's Been Through A LOT Of Periods Of NEGLECT!!! I NEGLECTED To Water Him Quick Enough, Now That He Lives In My Window Area. I'm Going To Check On Him For Leaf Loss Today... AND I'm Thinking I Might Have To Air Layer My G!!!
I too fell into the I must have some of those fuzzy/hairy hoyas. Thomsonii, Coronaria, India, Burtonii (soft textured) is what I have so far in that line. My first linearis was 2 feet long but I couldn't keep the mealy bugs away, tried again 3 more times with cuttings, 2 are potted and doing "ok". Now there's about 500+ types of hoyas. Be careful! 😂 She said, it’s a lot of Hoyas 🤣 that’s a deep rabbit hole, so many Hoyas too choose from. 😀 Can you move your Sansy light up any higher? Love your pics for April 😍
It is so good to see you back and posting regularly. I love your Hoya Linearis. 💚
Aww thank you 😊
Welcome back you and Sage.
Can't wait o see your selections
The Linearis looks so good in that pot and hanger
Brake it up
I almost because a Hoya person but I noticed they start to look like each other after some time. They are beautiful and easy but too expensive.

Hoyas are real easy care plants but a few varieties can be a bit picky.

That is interesting. Do you only have this problem with Hoyas?
@@jackiesplanthaven yes I do which is why I only have one now.
@@Yoliplanting I can totally understand that💚

I love your Linearis. Mine is tiny. I prefer broken up videos because it’s hard for me to sit through a long one. I have a few Hoyas. Love them. 💚🌱🌿🪴💚
I also fell in love with the fuzzy Linearis when I came across it in person 🪴 Fun video! Your voice is so calming 😊
Same! I wish I would have seen a bigger one in person though. Aww thank you. I think you do too 😊

I don’t know if it’s so much Hoyas or I just am crazy about buying plants. Lol I can’t help myself. Nope it doesn’t go any higher.
Hi there, where did you buy that hanging pot in the first Hoya plant you showed,it's beautiful.
The compacta? I got it from the plantfarm on Etsy.
ohhhh I don't have any fuzzy Hoyas. Hmmmm
I feel like calling him Big Boy as of right now. Let him know what the expectations are from the get go 😁 🪴
