The engine roar in the beginning was INCREDIBLE! I LOVE airplanes so much! A380 airbus is my favourite aircraft!
It's also one of the QUIETEST...!!! Nothing like the A330 by any means.
If you like engine roaring make sure to also check out other aircraft types powered by cf6 engine variants, especially older ones like the DC-10, the A310 or even the MD-11

ChAbAr Yes, it looks like registration number OO-SFM uses GE instead of PW, my bad. They look and sound incredibly similar, it's really hard to distinguish.

Haaa ! Makes me remember some good old memories when i used to work for them as a Cabin Crew. They have the oldest A330 on the market but hey, they still do their job like no one ! Looking forward to see the landing in JFK :-)
I'm happy to hear the a330ceo is still flying. I love general electric, PW, and rolls royce. Have you flew on the rolls Royce a330-200 or 300? The sound of that trent 700 is amazing.

I prefer the RRTrent 700's as they are more tailored for the A330 than the GE does
But i think the P&W on the A330 just looks plain ugly .
Jo Tyers My favorite only in term of sound tho, and actually GE and PW sounds really similar on the A330. The Trent 700 is the best engine for the A330 overall, only that it sounds like a tinier Trent 800.
Ramy Fares the Trent 700 has a nice roar to them but they take a while to spool up to full speed because of 3 stages

That is a really good production. 330's are serious machines. Everything out the window in Belgium looks so organized. Wonder if the culture is similar. Hope to ride a 330 one day. Until then, keep pointing that camera out the window. We're lovin' it here on YT. Thanks.

I'm going on a A330 next year from MAN to PMI and the roar of the engines are better than a 757-200. normally the airline uses Boeing airframes but they're pulling out the trump card (a hired in A330) I can't wait
