I will go for terrazzo when it's time, will use terrazzo also for my rooftop. Your house is looking amazing. Keep inspiring us.

Hi new subscriber here. I too am building but in Jamaica. I think you can be happy with your choice of outdoor tiles. It’s a beautiful design very sophisticated. I like the fact that it is subtle and not too loud.

In fact your building landscaping looks awesome, the tiles is perfect,I built and used pavers and mildew took over, mildew will not collect on the tiles, perfect choice, the coconut tree you can choose to plant a dwarf coconut tree and it will yield a lot,all in all you have done an absolute great landscaping job . Thanks.

Sampson Paintsil: Thanks for the compliment. I thought I made a mistake with using tiles but I'm glad I did now based on your comment. I used porcelain tiles from Italy, so I hope it last long. I didn't know that pavers collects mildew. I learn something everyday.

I will go with terrazzo. It's got a more regal look but I know it's more expensive. But great job sis ☺️

Fantastic work you are doing sister.ive watched a few of yr post. Just wanted to comment on the issue of damp in most houses in ghana.most developers are using hard landscaping but from a bit of research I've done this can never solve the problem. The issue with damp is to improve drainage. Please have a look at French drains. Lots of posting on UA-cam. Lots of home owners living in rural America use it a lot to improve on drainage on their properties. Hard landscaping also creates heat in the environment in an already hot area like accra.soft landscaping ie vegetation better in reducing heat

Tiles tend to be slippery when soapy water is poured on it.Also a big SUV might break it.
