The Harbeth's can be listened to for hours. Other speakers may be more intense, give a more transient presentation but in no way represent how live music sounds. This is a sophisticated sound. Beautiful system, btw. Thanks.
I'm not sure they "tamed" the mid-range so much, as they altered the balance to provide a bit more treble emphasis and resolution. The 40.3's and 30.3's seem to have a balance more like the SHL5's do.

@@hifihousebymsound6631 which exact cables do you use? And what’s the streamer? Thank you

Thank you so much😊
Lovely🍻
thanks
Wow. But 22,500 USD is huge money. Are they worth it vs other speakers in this neighborhood?
Sawadee kap. Were flown so often, over all. 👋👍
Thanks
did the tame the mid driver on these, normally they are way too loud in the midrange and the balance is no good on these speakers.

FR chart does not show any mid range problem.
Which streamer use ???
ASL made in Thailand
Please get rid off the TelluriumQ speaker cables. Try something else and you will see the improvement. I recommend Jorma Unity speaker cables.
