Reminds me of the gritty way our group played the old Traveller RPG. Always wanted the figures for that game but never got around to it. Core Space does look very attractive!
Is this a great looking game?...Is it going to be both challenging and fun?...Do i want to play it in the near future?......TOTALLY!! Great look at the final stages of this game, i have really enjoyed the concept it has put forward since it was first brought to my attention by OTT. BRING ON THE LETS PLAYS!!!!
Nice game! I could use the minis in Rifts RPG games, or our Gamma World campaigns, if we don't play the game itself. They would also look good in Shadowrun as well.
I'm pretty sure most people will end up doing the opposite - stealing minis from other games to run as crews in this one. You want Mal and co as a crew, or how about Lister, Rimmer, Kryten and Cat ? The BPRD ? if you have the minis, then you could potentially play them in the Core Space environment.
Is there any plans for an "on planet" game expansion that anyone knows of. Woods or desert or whatever else that's not a cityscape or anything like that?
there is an outland station in Battle System shop, that is wonderful to do some exterior missions. Furthermore, the alien infestation walls are perfect to simulate a dark cave ;)
As beautiful as this is (and believe me, I live for terrain like this to be in boardgames) I imagine the setup time for each mission is absolutely ridiculous... So I would hope that each mission lasts at least two hours, to make the set up worth it :/ Great looking game nevertheless! And the terrain would be a gigantic sell for me!
You'll want to set about 20 minutes aside for setting the board up. Of course, if you wanted to skip a lot of the scatter terrain and signage you could easily half that. From the missions we've played you're looking at at least 60 minutes, perhaps closer to 2+ hours per mission.
@@AndrewCCleverley Don't get me wrong! I am all for the terrain and the little details that go into it, it's fantastic! I'm just wondering if it would be worth leaving some of the crates and chairs etc set up and in a separate box ready for use!
@@80TheMadLord08 They've already thought of that. The game comes with some dividers so once all the terrain has been punched if can all be stored neatly inside the box. And yes, that includes all the scatter terrain built. If you pop onto Battle System's UA-cam channel they have an unboxing video that shows exactly how it all goes into the box. Wonderful stuff!
@@Syko1985 Don't know about 2nd KS, better to buy it on the website, I guess.. they are planning a new KS this year but my hope is it will be a fantasy game... or at least fantasy terrain, which is more probable, as design of their fantasy terrain is old and it's pretty much sold out anyway..
they are releasing some blank cards, that way you can bring other aliens in there. They did say they want to support it for years to come so i have a feeling they have only scratched the surface!
There are several different alien races in the game - most of which have race specific abilities. Opponent wise you have the Purge, Gangs and G-Corps not to mention opposing crews. With the blank boards theres nothing to stop you creating your own enemy factions too!
Just got into Core Space a few weeks ago and this video reminded me... I had forgotten to acquire Purge Outbreak!
I love the detail of it all! And how you can interact with the setting, as Colin puts it, the real-search area.
For straight out the box, that is the best looking game I have seen. That terrain is amazing!
A complete box is an understatement. So so much in one box. Looks amazing.
It’s the cinematic immersion that drew me in, can’t wait for it to arrive!

Am so looking forward to this. The wait for it to arrive is destroying me.
just finished our first mission, didn't fire a shot, didn't get hurt at all, and had a freaking blast!

It is really a game of games....so much fun to play this game and solo play is also possible.....awesome!

@@sylvainrebotier5412 thank you! I'm definitely going to have to make a purchase soon, This game looks like everything I've been looking for!
This looks amazing, really looking forward to it's release.
Is there any chance you guys will be at adepticon so i can play test it?
Hmm Justin didnt ask him this time... i know he has on some of the other videos but i dont recall where they are planning on going.
Does anyone know no if they show the game on camera.
Not really any close ups but I think they are doing some let's plays so we will get plenty of good shots then.
There are 4 or 5 let's play videos from over a year ago when the kickstarted was going.
You can find more Core Space with Let's Plays on the Link provided in the description.
I am really interested in this game but what I would like to know is: will be possible to choose the language of the game in the future?
Ok, I was convinced before but the high prices said no - but 19:25 said to me YOU NEED THIS WITHOUT ANY DOUBTS.
Got to save the money.
Just waiting for it to arrive. Pumped to take a band or rag tag ruffians around for a good honest scrap
busting to get my kickstarter!!
Looks awesome 💜
Looks awesome love the terrain

from what i have heard the setup isnt terrible. but longer than most games for sure. we shall find out soon enough :)
Stay tuned on Thursday for some tips for making longer campaign games.

I want this!! Im all in!!!!
Was this on Kickstarter?
I just did a search and it was :( how did I manage to miss this one? It's my dream game. Any chance of a 2nd print Kickstarter?
It was. I'm looking forward to mine.

Excellent!
Wonderful! Try watching Dice Tower unboxing of Core Space after this.. ;-) Those guys were absolutely clueless and classless...
Shiny!
I need this
i want this
I hope you haven't gone the Mantic route and use heap soft plastic.
Need more aliens and more varried opponents :)
I agree it needs more Aliens and more varied crews.
