True, its hard to say how much it will change, for sure... But ultimately, I am not convinced it will change the SEO game that much, until a more complete intelligence is created.....
I have several website types. One is written, and it does rank well, but the non-AI-written site seems to generate more leads.
Many factors impact SEO, besides the method used to write the content.
Google evaluates the entire user interaction/ user experience as one of their most important criteria.
I have ranked both ai and non-ai sites, but the hand written site seems to generate quality leads in comparison to the other one, but that could be just because I put more time into it...
But, in either case, due to the large number of factors that impact ranking, my idea is that it won't change much, on account of user experience.
You could check it out, I am ranking pretty high (#2) for
"managed cybersecurity san diego."
For the one is position #1, I actually consulted for them, but they had someone else do the actual work.
At first- I thought I wasted my time by hand writing the entire site, but now- its been ranking on the first page for more than a year, and the rankings are only increasing, because URL strengthens over time.
Ai can help, but it can't actually do complete SEO, and I also think Chat GPT falls for SEO fallacies- since it relies on information found online, versus trial and error.
The second additional layer is PPC And Clickrate Manipulation, but those are advertising secrets I can't discuss without sounding too much like Chris Wiser.....
