Great review man! I took possession of my Redeye back on April 17th, gave it up for 2 weeks at detailer for paint correction and duel layer Modesta coating. Car looks absolutely amazing and I managing to proper break in up to 642 miles before heading back to work overseas. I never played with any of the features and never deactivated traction control. Summer tires and Florida hot weather still allowed the car to get out of shape when I changed lanes at WOT on the highway. I thought the car was fast during break in, but the first time I allowed it to redline through 2 gears,..I knew insane was a better word for the car. So blessed to have finally achieved my Challenger obsession.
Was thinking about getting a new GT 350 but a stop at my local Dodge dealership changed my mind. I test drove a new Scat Pack with the shaker that had 485 HP. I absolutely loved driving that car. Definitely getting a new wide body challenger next year. Just loved the acceleration and how solid that car felt
I personally have always been a Chevy and Mopar guy. Absolutely love those two manufacturers. I currently own a 6th generation Camaro 2SS and was considering trading it in for a 2019 Widebody Redeye later this year.

Love that intro and the music! Things I might do on my Redeye : diff brace, rear strut bar .. both helped on my Scat Pack with wheel hop and keeping the rear straight. I had put a Toyo Proxis 4 plus right before I traded it in, got a real good launch I. 20 degree weather. So maybe between the bracing and different tires I can launch better. I just tap the pedal on the Redeye and I light up this 275s lol I should have added the widebody option lol

I've been interested in purchasing the SRT hellcat widebody for a while now. I'd be trading in my RRS supercharged V8, which I LOVE. I'm curious, do you feel this vehicle plants the power quite well? I'm so used to my AWD config that I NEVER worry about planting power. This has been my biggest hangup with these types of car.
The 3.09 gear gives the car the highest top speed possible because it allows for more torque multiplication in the higher gears and torque multiplication is what you need to overcome wind resistance.

With 10.8 times, seems a bit off the magical 10 flats of the Demon. I don't think people realize what it takes to run those kinds of times. Certainly sounds great, breaks loose anywhere in 2nd and third too! Amazing. Glad you pointed out why the Redeye is a better street car than the Hellcats and even the Demon. What I dont understand is the purpose launch button. If you dont hold the brake hard enough the car will still spin. So why does that button exist if all you have to do is hold brake and rev?

@@392LJ like those to I mean like dodges other cars like the 2015 dart or Chrysler 200 & others my wife has a 2015 dart sxt dam thing died it keeps breaking & only has 60k miles I drive 2013 Elantra 106k miles runs great no issues
I believe the trans in that car is the BMW zf 8 speed the best transmission with a torque converter right now it's very efficient to and shifts are extremely fast and smooth

Nice car brotha! It’s tough with the redeye stock tires. However, get toyo R888R Tires and it will dead hook!

Depends. If you want drag strip racing 3.09, half mile and roll racing 2.62 (especially over 800whp)

How heavy is it? If its too heavy that would definitely affect the speed.

Nothing wrong with the standard Hellcat. Really. A pulley change and few minors mods and the hellcat is over this and cheaper
