Excellent. By the way can you suggest me what actually be used at the bottom of bonsai pot ? I used previously sand and pebbles but I think it's just confusing idea , next I used charcoal as in india charcoal is available but I can't get the perfect one. I use self made bonsai soil mixture with perlite and other materials and works great . I can't get into the right object to place over the mesh of bonsai pot before placing bonsai soil mixture. I m from india , kolkata. Thank you.
Adronius Hello Adronius you can buy the Mesh (its plastic not iron) and the Tools from us at www.makebonsai.com, and most other specialist Bonsai Suppliers
+Mohanned Walid the primary aim of placing a mesh at the bottom of the pot is to insure larger bugs and pest stay out of the pot, otherwise they tend to nest and borrow huge cavities at the bottom of the pot and it can cause problems with the bonsai. Wire are use to hold the mesh in place so that it does not shift around. The longer tie wire are use to ensure the bonsai is secured into the pot so that it does not move in the early day after repotting, ensuring that the newly growing root are not damaged in the wind or when watering.
Thanks!! Simple and clear instructions 👏🏼
