- OnlyOneOf is returning in January 2024 with their new album [Things I Can’t Say Love].
This upcoming long-titled album will mark the peak of the musical direction OnlyOneOf has built up so far.
Lovers who feel their love isn’t blessed, feelings that had to be hidden and concealed. What is often called the minor path of love is brought to light and expressed through songs.
The well-made dance tracks of OnlyOneOf delicately add up another layer. The title song “dOpamine” refers to the term of the excitement and pleasure of being in love. It is a song about the love that one unknowingly falls into. As a UK drum and bass genre, the song captivates listeners with its addictive melodies that continue in repetition.
Another track “O” highlights the boyish charm of OnlyOneOf with its refreshing sounds just like the music in a Pocari Sweat commercial. Also, “circle” is a track with dope sounds, further solidifying the unique style of OnlyOneOf under the leadership of Haeil, who has been directing OnlyOneOf music so far.
Created by Nine, a member of OnlyOneOf, the track “gravity” showcases Nine’s prowess as a producer, expressing the shifts in emotions that are pulled in like gravity through a flowing melody.
After the web drama “Bump Up Business,” where every member broadened their acting spectrum and expanded their worldview beyond music, OnlyOneOf is returning to their main job in a long time with the release of [Things I Can’t Say Love]. The comeback once again proves why OnlyOneOf has steadily built its dedicated fan base overseas.

이 긴 문장의 앨범은 그동안 온리원오브가 쌓아왔던 음악적인 방향의 정점을 찍어낸다.
축복받지 못한 사랑을 하는 연인들, 숨기고 감춰야만 했던 사랑의 감정들. 흔히 마이너하다고 이야기해왔던 사랑의 방법을 양지로 끌어올려 노래한다.
그리고 온리원오브만의 웰메이드한 댄스 트랙들은 한층 더 레이어를 정교하게 쌓아 올린다. 타이틀 곡 ‘dOpamine’은 사랑할 때의 흥분, 쾌감을 일컫는 용어로 자신도 모르게 빠져들고야 마는 사랑에 대한 노래이다. UK 드럼 앤 베이스 장르의 곡으로 반복성을 이어나가며 중독적인 멜로디를 통해 리스너들을 사로잡는다.
수록곡 ‘give me the love, bitch’는 마치 포카리 스웨트 광고 음악처럼 청량한 사운드 아래 온리원오브의 소년미가 강조된 음악이다. 또한 ‘circle’은 Dope한 사운드의 곡으로 그동안 온리원오브의 음악을 지휘했던 해일의 리드 아래 온리원오브다운 스타일을 한층 더 강화했다.

The song has a new vibe for OnlyOneOf but still sounds very OnlyOneOf! It is a simple MV, but I guess it really showcases the choreo, and I understand now why the members have been saying the choreo is one of the most difficult so far. Can't wait to hear other songs on the album.
edit: after having an opportunity to look at the lyrics closely. This is even more of a masterpiece for me because it captures how dopamine actually works and also in an artistic way. While dopamine gives the excitement for the moment, they keep wanting more until not being to control the addition. It connects the physiological phenomenon and the psychological process seamlessly. The laser beams in the room are like how dopamine creates the excitement in the brain. The intensive choreo along the fast paced beats further underscores the overstimulated mind. The song is catchy and has substance at the same time 🧠🧠🧠
