    I had some buddies build a skatepark in Sioux Falls. Did you do any of the pumping for them? New line skateparks

      I did quite a few jobs there! Pumped the last 20 yards yesterday! Great group of guys.

    Have you noticed any differences in the line when you strap your reducers to the outrigger like that?

    • @ConcretePumpingService
      @ConcretePumpingService  3 місяці тому

      The surge might be a touch more aggressive when I strap it but it a must. If I didn’t, I feel either the clamp or the HD end of the reducer could only take so much before one was to give.

      @@ConcretePumpingService anything can happen. But I’ve never seen that happen in almost 20 years of pumping. I’ve seen a handful of hoses break from the coupling though.

    I was wonder when clean ur hose in a pile the concrete contractor or the general contractor responsible for the cleanup ? That was awesome video of how that machine works.

      I always ask where I can put the extra concrete. If I can’t dump it like I did in this video, I’ll suck a ball back and drive to the washout and dump it all there.

      All is well! Been suuuuper busy with work, moving into the new house, and getting ready for the little one to come in September! I finally got some free time while I was out of town for work to work on a video and get it posted!

    Does your customer get a discount for having there own nozzle man??

      Not at all. If anything, I would probably charge them more if I had to run the hose on a big pour like this. When pumping that fast at 2000psi+, a lot can go wrong very quickly. Around here though, nobody expects me to run the hose. If they are short handed, I will run the hose for them but that happens on smaller pours 20 yards or less. On pours this size, they always have more than enough hands. When we poured the base layer and they had to hand screed, I drug the hose around behind the hose man. The laser screed allows 5-6 guys to do something else.

    man i hope they pay well.... this is MISERABLE work...

      That laser screed makes it soooo much easier! They had to hand screed the grout base layer that is under the foam. That was some miserable work.

    Add water man that did look to dry

    • @ConcretePumpingService
      @ConcretePumpingService  4 місяці тому

      Slump was a 4 right when we started but the test guy was there so we couldn’t add water right away. We had a range from 2” to 5 1/2” slump. Once he tested it, we got it up to a 5-5 1/2. We didn’t want to add too much and fail the test and eat a whole load my concrete.

      @@ConcretePumpingService it's the angle it's like the camera is pointed down the entire time.

    • @ConcretePumpingService
      @ConcretePumpingService  4 місяці тому

      I can understand that. It’s hard to get it perfect. If i have it too far up and I have to do something on the ground, I won’t get it on film. Vice versa if I have it pointed down too far. I think I need a better camera with a wider lens to capture all of the good stuff!
