Lex Vance you’re the man Lex!! I’m sure you’re busy with the kids and everything but your videos are awesome! I go for “a day in the field” tryouts tomorrow and I’ve been binge watching your vids thanks for all that you do!
I work maintenance here in Kitchener Ontario, southern Ontario! I love the job, I started with 0 experience, and I’m only 23, I have learned so much and my senior staff, and management can see that! They always express to me they want me to grow, and move up! I’m super excited to have found your channel.. helps me grow and see others outlooks. Respects brother!
Aye same here out in Northern California! 23 with no experience and about 4 or 5 weeks in. learning as I go and studying Lex's videos like im taking a final test in 2 hours lol keep up the good work man best of luck to you in Ontario!
When I was having my home remodeled one of the cabinet guys used the same method the pnly thing is that not only did I make his company reimburse me for the cost to repair my wall but got an upgraded kitchen cabinet set. He just started hammering in holes throughout the kitchen , his excuse was the cabinets are going to cover it up.

That was sssssuper sssspecial work. I usually throw the pieces of drywall into the wall. Is that bad. Or I just put a picture over the hole. Great work I love it.
@@LexVance Hey Lex, love the videos! You should consider coming to Maryland. Office building Property management companies up here are begging for good guys. Lots of maintenance mechanic and stationary engineer jobs around the washington DC area and 30-50 an hour is very common, especially when you get in with a union. I came from Lake Wales Fl and the weathers not bad up here!

Nice work only thing I would have done different would been prime the old plaster that you went over but I guess that has enuff key anyway but it looks super good at end and I would have plasterboarded it the same way :) Thumbs up and subbed from me mate :)
Can you make another video about patching a wall. My grandma has a hole in the wall and I want her to trust me to patch it and so I can trust myself. Thank you.
Drywall mesh tape is sticky on one side to allow adhesion even before drywall mud is applied. The putty will just dry & sink & look clumpy. You can float better when seams are together with mesh tape. Thank you so much for watching William!
