I am 14 I used to go to a Catholic school but I moved to a public school and I met a lot of people who were Christian and believed in Jesus they showed me Jesus and the right religion and I really want to grow closer to Jesus but my parents think otherwise. When you're bad you can't just go from an evil person to someone who has a relationship with God I need help. I set my phone to my radio app. on a Christian music station before falling asleep in my car. I awoke to this song playing and for some reason I cannot explain how drawn I was to the lyrics and the awesomeness of the instruments and power in the singers voice. I am a sinner and have been thinking about suicide alot in the past year or so. I have no family or friends, I am a loner that is just kind of floating along through life without purpose. My mother was a very God loving woman that trusted in the word of God for everything big or small. About 2 days ago I was sitting in my car in a parking lot on the verge of crying from all the pain in my heart/life. I had nobody to turn to so I asked God if he would p;ease help me even though I felt so undeserving of his help. When I awoke to this song it immediately filled me with hope and most of the pain in my heart had diminished. That night was the first time hearing this song and I'm not sure what the message is supposed to be or if it had any direct relation to me asking God for help but I can't help but think he hasn't turned away from me just yet. I'm on my lunch break at work and I had no trouble finding this song even though I didn't know the title or artist. I'm at the end of my rope and I don't know what to do next but as weird as it sounds this one single song has given me will to go on another day. Sorry for rambling on but I had to get this out. Hopefully somebody can explain what's going on.

i steped on my cats paw and she freaked out and ran away, and my cat is my life(like i just really REALLY love her). So i was praying and praying and my dad said oh she'll be back in 30 minutes. But like 10 minutes later she was back. I'm so happy God rocks!

I love this song and play it quite often, both in my private life and also when I'm doing Worship with my friendship group. I did it last night and me and my Christian Brother,, and best friend,. stood up on the last step off the stage and at the end of the final chorus when it says, "We were Made To Thrive" with that Final word being emphasized, we jumped from the step. I've been to two Casting Crowns concerts and they usually do this one as their encore because it's a fan favorite. The last concert I went to was in August of 2021 and when they came out and encored with this song, I screamed and belted it out. This is my absolute favorite Casting Crowns Song! Casting Crowns was my First CD when I was 11 years old. 15 years later, I listen to Casting Crowns and have 88 songs in my Music Library.

this song is amazing, but what really caught my eye is the background. those ferns are called resurrection ferns. they grow commonly across the branches of live oak trees. the reason they’re so interesting to me is because these ferns look like they’re dead most of the time. they’re brown and whithered and not pleasant to look at. but when it rains, they perk up and “come back to life”. they’re only like that for a short while after it rains. then they look dead again. this is such an image of the Christian life. we were dead, but we have been raised with Christ. but we need the continuous presence of the Holy Spirit so that we stay alive!

I set my phone to my radio app. on a Christian music station before falling asleep in my car. I awoke to this song playing and for some reason I cannot explain how drawn I was to the lyrics and the awesomeness of the instruments and power in the singers voice. I am a sinner and have been thinking about suicide alot in the past year or so. I have no family or friends, I am a loner that is just kind of floating along through life without purpose. My mother was a very God loving woman that trusted in the word of God for everything big or small. About 2 days ago I was sitting in my car in a parking lot on the verge of crying from all the pain in my heart/life. I had nobody to turn to so I asked God if he would p;ease help me even though I felt so undeserving of his help. When I awoke to this song it immediately filled me with hope and most of the pain in my heart had diminished. That night was the first time hearing this song and I'm not sure what the message is supposed to be or if it had any direct relation to me asking God for help but I can't help but think he hasn't turned away from me just yet. I'm on my lunch break at work and I had no trouble finding this song even though I didn't know the title or artist. I'm at the end of my rope and I don't know what to do next but as weird as it sounds this one single song has given me will to go on another day. Sorry for rambling on but I had to get this out. Hopefully somebody can explain what's going on.

God cannot bring to your mind scriptures when you don't know the verses are there.. remember the enemy also knows scripture well ... put on the full armor of God ... my friend ...

i steped on my cats paw and she freaked out and ran away, and my cat is my life(like i just really REALLY love her). So i was praying and praying and my dad said oh she'll be back in 30 minutes. But like 10 minutes later she was back. I'm so happy God rocks!

The hardest part of my life since meeting Jesus that night I was born again is the world judging me based on my flesh when Jesus clearly saves us by his holy spirit an by faith we are saved an then the spirit continues to work within us .We are not made perfect by the flesh

I first heard this song at my church’s youth musical and it was amazing. After all these years of first hearing the song, it reminds me of how great God is and to not give up.
I love this song and play it quite often, both in my private life and also when I'm doing Worship with my friendship group. I did it last night and me and my Christian Brother,, and best friend,. stood up on the last step off the stage and at the end of the final chorus when it says, "We were Made To Thrive" with that Final word being emphasized, we jumped from the step. I've been to two Casting Crowns concerts and they usually do this one as their encore because it's a fan favorite. The last concert I went to was in August of 2021 and when they came out and encored with this song, I screamed and belted it out. This is my absolute favorite Casting Crowns Song! Casting Crowns was my First CD when I was 11 years old. 15 years later, I listen to Casting Crowns and have 88 songs in my Music Library.

this song is amazing, but what really caught my eye is the background. those ferns are called resurrection ferns. they grow commonly across the branches of live oak trees. the reason they’re so interesting to me is because these ferns look like they’re dead most of the time. they’re brown and whithered and not pleasant to look at. but when it rains, they perk up and “come back to life”. they’re only like that for a short while after it rains. then they look dead again. this is such an image of the Christian life. we were dead, but we have been raised with Christ. but we need the continuous presence of the Holy Spirit so that we stay alive!
