- From the live album, GOD NEVER FAILS. Harold Freeman & Charles Johnson are the lead singers. The spirit was HIIIIGH on this one here!! Hey!! Glory!!
Charles Nicks: Organ
George Jordan: Piano
Robert Martin: Drums
Our God never fails!!! Glory! Glory! Glory!! He knows what we need and He will come through every time!!
You just took me back to my parents living room in East Cleveland,Ohio. The Glenville SDA Gospel would tear the church up with this song. Sing Children.
grew up with this on an old Doug Oldham record and I have sung it all over, from a dark army barracks full of sleepless young women soldiers to the bedside of a near suicide and this blessed song has never failed to allow folks to feel the heartbeat of our Lord in our midst.
AMEN!!!
Dr. Harold A. Carter love this song performed by his choir in the late 70's-early 80's at New Shiloh Baptist Church in Baltimore City.
Whenever I heard it. I never felt closer to God. (7-10 years old)
Stop going to church until the age of 26. I could never get this song out of my mind
I know the power and mercy of Yahweh Elohim (GOD), surely He never. For 33 years while I roam the streets of the world He kept me. He Never Fails. ALLELUIA
Before i realized the group singing, I recognized Rev. Nicks playing. So distinctive.
One and only! That man was a genius. Doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
now i will have to put this one on my favorites
I love this song my father used to play this song when i was a little boy . Yes God never fails glory !
I too testify. He never fails.
This Is The One Song That My Cousin Marty Moore And I Co-Lead For The Var-Son Community Choir And When They Came To Buffalo I Sat front Row Across From The Hammond In Awe!
This song was written by the late Elder George Jordan.
Amen. Yes it was. He was such a blessing to the Body of Christ.
This choir sang with such power from the first notes!!!
Charles nicks is the perfect organist. Never over doing it and always on beat and those chords. My goodness
So true, He never rushed the beat - always "in the pocket". That property gives music the weighty mature sound. Also, Rev, Charles Hercules Nicks never over played. He knew the perfect place to put his licks and stunning improvisations.
I grew up listening to this recording! Such memories! Thank you for posting.
You're more than welcome
