this is by far the most powerful doxology i have ever seen , i remain so consumed by the smoke of God's divine presence , oh if our worship to God could always be so powerful the impact of our ministry to others would also be the seem.

I believe every Black American Baptist church opened services with the Doxology hymn song. I'm sure its rare to hear nowadays. Takes me back to childhood and teenage memories of Bethany Baptist Church of Chesapeake. Va. Rev Charles Nick's was a great gospel musician.

The Portal of Heaven was open WIDE...When they sang this and Unseen ANGELS and heavenly Host Filled the Sanctuary Ceiling, the roof and the room. Heaven stood at Attention and Praised God even all the More when they sang this song. GLORY!!!

Reminds me of my grandmother’s church, Franklin Street Baptist Church, in Mobile, Alabama. I would be standing next to my grandmother as the church sung and the choir came out the choir stand for dismissal. Very powerful. You had to be in the house of the Lord to understand.
Oh Yes Lord! Those good ole Baptist fits, the nurses board, the organ and the Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow doxology and benediction. That's the kind of church I grew up in!!! I went all the way "in" watching and listening to this.
Greater Good Hope Bc sung this every Sunday Morning sometimes we wouldn't make it Ricky Brown on the organ & Marilyn Brown on the Piano I was on the bench with her Jerry Robertson directing wow. 🙌🙌😔I miss it

Wow, the Spirit flows every time i play this .where ever i am i began to worship i try to hold it but can't tears began to flow my mouth flies open and i run to the nearest bathroom and just cry and thank God for EVERYTHING.GOD IS SO AMAZING.
We tried to do this at our church but the choir didn't do it like they knew they could and therefore I THINK that's what made out Pastor not too hot about it. But I feel this is a beautiful way to end the service. Our family reunion ends this way though every time and it is a beautiful moment.

So often we sing songs as part of ritual but this puts the meaning back into these words. This is how it should be sang every time!
