I followed along with your video to make this cupcake. It was easy to follow. Great instructions. The only thing is, how did you make the end thing on the stem of the cherry and how did u get it so stiff?
I’m sorry for that, and for this late reply… sometimes my camera tricks me! I just used the beginning of the yarn leftover from the magic ring, and i bring it to the right side of the cherry. After, I make a simple knot about 1cm length and cut

Hey!! Yes there are a couple of no-sew patterns! You can check in the website under the "free patterns" tab. By my head, the sea creatures are all no-sew. The Little turtle is awesome and no sew at all. For a newbie on amigurumi, a bit more complicated then thus cupcake but following the video you can do it! There is the Tiny octopus also, no sew. Jellyfish.... just a couple of them jumping in my mind!
You’re welcome 😊 for the cherry (I'm sorry the camera stopped filming that part and was too late when I realized...). But you just give a little simple knot with about 1cm distance from the cherry (maybe you give it two knots if the thread you are working with is super light) then, you cut the leftover close to the knot. The weight of the knot will fall to the side a little bit, giving that effect! ❤️

Hello!!! If you already know some crochet, it can be really fast! If you are starting from zero, it might take you a little while because, the beginning of amiguruni can be challenging. I suggest you to start with the chubby bunny tutorial available here. And open on the side the Playlist with the basic techniques, also online here in the channel! I'm completely positive you can do it! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much, this is a really good tutorial and easy to follow along! One question: what size yarn did you use? Mine didn’t come out as crisp as yours so I’m wondering if I need a different size hook. Thanks so much!
I used a light worsted (DK) cotton yarn, and my stitch tension is very tight, which helps to keep the crisp result that you mention. What you can do is either adapt the yarn to a thicker version or change the needle to a smaller size. I hope this helps! ❤️🥰
These are so adorable!! I'm still very new to crocheting, so I'm not that familiar with yarn. Is there supposed to be a size? Or is all 100% cotton the same size. I keep thinking of things I've seen for hats and sweaters like "worsted weight" or "bulky".
Hello Vicki! Thank you for the kind words about my creations! For this one I used light worsted Cotton yarn (info of materials you can find in the written pattern here littlecrochetfarm.com/no-sew-mini-cupcake-amigurumi-free-pattern/ ) but you can use fingering yarn as well!

I'm really hoping that this cupcake tutorial can become a workable a solution (leaving the bottom open in order to use it as a little mug hat)! I appreciate any comments, feedback, suggestions from fellow stitchers out there in reference to my inquiry! Thank you so much for your super helpful channel! I am glad that I found you!!! 🥰
Hey! I am not sure it could fit but I can suggest you something. This cupcake is really fast to work up! You can make one with the following instructions, maybe even using a bigger hook because I imagine this cupcake will be a bit smaller for your needs (but not much! try a 3mm hook). And see if you need to go bigger from there. If you need, instead of changing the hook, change to a little bit thicker yarn. So you can grow its size very slowly. I hope this can help!!
Awesome!!! Thank you for your helpful suggestions! I'll give them a try! I'll come back to let you know how it worked out 💗 Thank you very very much for replying 💗 I enjoy your channel very much!!!💗

@@LittleCrochetFarm thank you so much for your reply! I didn't realize you were using cotton. I was using acrylic and so I ended up using that little hack where I lightly burned the tip of the knot to melt it in place, like you might the end of a ribbon, which worked out great for the material I chose. Again, thank you for your response. I might try these with cotton next time! 😊

After, I make a simple knot about 1cm length and cut. The material that I’m using is a cotton and the little knot on top is “heavy” enough to make the knot bend a little.
