Thanks. I'm thinking of buying both of these - the solar panels and the power station. Very helpful.

I have this 300 watt Dokio set up. love it. I also have the EcoFlow 700 watt system, it is awesome. This is a great setup.

How did it hold up? Did you experience any problems?
Just checking because I heard the amps are too high on this solar panel and could fry the ecoflow solar charge function.

This is probably set up I will go with.

i have one of these. the max power i could get was 13.23v x 17a = 225 watts using my mppt controller and with my measuring equipment in mid march in northern indiana, best sun, best angle up on a stand i built for it. i plan to do more testing soon, oh and the included pwm controller max power was 220 watts. i think the default battery voltages are low, so maybe i can adjust it and squeeze a few more watts out of it. the included pwm controller gets the job done, but it lies about the output lol. for the record, my four 4 rich solar poly panels can and have produced 398 watts, wired in series over 60 foot 16 gauge wire to my mppt. i think this panel may actually be about a 230-240 watt panel. i had three of them and didnt like the price per power output so i returned 2 of them and the third seller made me a partial refund deal that i couldnt pass just to keep it, so i kept one of them. they really need to be stood up flat and angled towards the sun but they are so floppy that its difficult to do so, and they can crack under their own weight if your not careful. its perfect for camping or emergencies. 200 watts does not go far but its much much better than nothing. just two of my rich solar glass panels normally out produce the dokio by just a tiny bit but they are glass and heavy. the dokio comes with everything but a battery or solar generator so thats nice.

I agree. I did a quick test, thinking maybe it didn't get the best sunlight with it being flat like that. And my power station max input is 200 watt, if it did go pass 200 watt I wouldn't able to tell. It does seem like a 230 watt panel. I would think it would hit 200 watt, it never did. Thinking about returning it. Thought the price was good for 300 watt, now realized it's probably not a 300 watt panel.

@@peakboost i have not been so conflicted over a product my self. if only they were sturdier and or had some kind of kickstand. or if they produced what they said, the box claims 320 watts lol, or if the price was much cheaper. i would say $150 would be a better price, but all these folding panels are over priced imo, they are taking advantage of a segment of the market where most of the people making purchases dont understand the variables or metrics, myself included.

Thanks for the video. CheapRVLiving made a follow up video about this panel and apparently in the long term, it doesn't hold up very well. I suspect the guy in the video was not very careful with the panel though. How's it working for you almost one year later please? Have you used it a lot? Is it still working and not damaged at all? Thanks!

Hello congratulations for the video. The DOKIO 300w solar panel is really crazy! Why do you know of another type of portable panel, cheaper with a good 70% output? Thank you!

do i need to purchase the xt60 SAE connector seperately if i have the ecoflow?

I need roughly 180-200 watts to recharge my lithium battery 26ah. Should i purchase the 300 watt solar panel instead of the 200? Will the MMPT control it to 6A so it won't push it too hard? Thanks!

Did you fry the solar charge function on your ecoflow using those panels?
Because that 300w is 16amps and your pack is rated at around 12amp solar charge max

I want to know that too? Also im new do you need to go thru the charge controller or can i hook my ecoflow river to my 110 w panel? pretty sure its rated for a 220 w panel?????

Hi. I just received my Dokio 300W panel and standard charge controller that came with. I seem to be only getting 1.2 Amps going into the system (even at full sunshine) All connections seem to be good. My battery is at 75% with no load on it.... Any thoughts on why amps are so low going into system? How many amps do you get from the 300W going into the battery?

    • @wakawaka1976
      @wakawaka1976 2 роки тому

Noob here but when your battery is at a higher rate of charge it lowers the input… but that’s usually around 80% so…

Only thing that sucks about this one is that it's not including any kind of leg system to stand it up.

Any further testing like with the panel angled?

    • @peakboost

I can, but my power station is max at 200 watt. I should be getting another power station soon that has higher PV max and will try it in an angle to see if I can get over 200 watt.

@@peakboost you don't worry about the Watts you have to worry about the amps.
Your pack is rated at 12 amps anything over that will fry the solar charger.
