🍦, I know you're probably not going to see this, but I work for a dealership out of Percival VA, we have a KTM RC8C in our show room, it was the first of 100 off the line if you wanted to come through and get it.
Imo more competition between manufacturers are pretty much always better for us consumers. new tech , competitive pricing
Well said
I just hope it's real competition and not puppet companies.
Absolutely.
especially if you pay your employees $10 a day 🤔
Agreed
CFMoto is probably the brand I am most interested in watching the development of currently, despite the fact that I definitely shared the same stigma toward chinese motorcycles in the past. Their current lineup is genuinely good (reliability still needs time to see how it shakes out, but initial quality is at least really impressive), and the pricing is just untouchable for the features. They may still be a relatively small player right now, but give it 5 or so years and the other manufacturers wont be able to ignore them. Like it or not, Chinese manufacturing of both motorcycles and cars is here and its not going anywhere. All we can hope for is that the resulting products are good.
Its important to remember, countries don't make products. People do. I don't like the actions or stances of the Chinese government, but that doesn't mean the average citizen can't be a genuinely passionate enthusiast just like any of us.
The Chinese don't allow Vehicle Manufacturers into their market unless they make product there - With a 50/50 Chinese Partner. We've taught them everything we know. There's no reason why they should be worse than anything from Detroit. And General Motors got greedy after US Taxpayers bailed them out, and sold their Chinese Partner 1 more share, making it a 49/51 Partnership. General Motors is now just SAIC's US Retail wing. All their R&D is done in China.
W take
W take
Their reliability is good because some of their bike use ktm engines
Funny the people saying they won't buy chinese products because of the ccp, as if all profits went to them. These same people seem to have no issue buying a bmw or jap bike, and both countries killed many innocent people, and some of their grandfathers in ww2! And almost all products sold today likely have some chinese made parts.
I 100% expect that CFmoto will eventually get up to big 4 priced and not the other way around cause good things will never last. Remember that
Will increase in price for sure, but I doubt it would be as expensive as the big 4. They still pump out bikes at a higher volume than their competitors even for today's standards.
Honestly, as a long time rider of Hondas, they deserve it. I got fed up with their shit when "inventory issues" were happening for years and let the dealerships mark up bikes to disgusting prices.
Not to mention how we always got fed the leftover scraps while the rest of the world got updated bikes. I mean like seriously, their "2023" CBR600RR is still using the same dash from over a decade ago, what the fuck...
Agree
Kia and Hyundai probably have high-line and EV autos pushing 6 figures
@@wajalama It shows conflicting images on google, some show the digi-dash, some show the analog-dash for 2023 600rr, not sure which is the right image.
Let me just say I recently lowsided my 2023 KTM 790 Duke (CF MOTO BUILT) at about 60 mph. And the bike held up really well, no snapped welds or fractured ally. If it wasn't for a bent front wheel I could've ridden home. I've done 5k miles on it already and no issue to speak of. Very impressed.
Ok John xina
A bike rammed into my Husky's(Made in India) radiator at 50+kmph, just the guard fell off which I picked up and put on back. Another time a bike rear-ended perpendicularly nothing damaged. See if 5 ppl who had problems would post here then everyone will think there's a problem with KTM's QA but 5 will post positively people will ignore.
I have 18k miles on my 790, and only issue was a very small coolant leak
I bought the 700 clx sport about a month ago and I am absolutely in love with it. It was a zero mile 2022 model so I got some money off msrp and didn’t have to pay the dumb transport fee. Walked out the door with it for $6300.
5 k I had 60k in 5 yrs on original ninja 600 never had 1 not 1 part fail show me cfmoto that has happened on I will buy in
as a chinese i feel really happy that a chinese motorcycle brand is getting more reputation, and the new cfmoto clc450 cruiser is coming out this year, so I really cant wait XD
So many good words for CF Moto. Another Chinese motorcycle brand Kove is also rising, their recently-relase 450cc-sports bike is quite comaprable with the Kawasaki Zx-4RR (performance & quality)
I already own a CFMoto 800 NK. Wow is that Beast a riot! No complaints yet and everything seems to be getting smoother every change oil! I know that it's early to judge but I am beyond satisfactory level at the moment! Thanks for the video Yammie! Love from the Philippines!
Fun fact - The Kawasaki 650 parallel twin is also manufactured by CF Moto. It's the same engine used in CF Moto's 650 line up and the Moto Morini XCape 650. Thank me later
Everyone knows this dude
@@chrispekel5709I didn’t know that
@@chrispekel5709dude wtf not all knows this
That is false
Lol. Where's did you find this fake info? Bing?
I want a 450SS so bad, but it just wasn't the year. I'll end up getting one in the next couple of years probably. They just look, feel, and sound so damn nice.
Just got mine a month ago and I love it
IFeel You G, If I Had A Garage ToPark That Vad Voy In, Ouuh Id Ve Rippin So Hard Rn
the new gen is single sided swing arm. so youll love it even more
Who knows, you might end up with the 800NK. Just like me, the 800 NK
@@TGChauuncyythat's an excuse. Buy it and bring it in the house.
i have been loving my 450ss and a cfmoto liter bike would be a sick upgrade in a couple years
I used the x350 in my MSF course; it's actually a really good bike with little vibration compared to most Harleys
Thanks for the humor Yammie! I dig your Harley dude with an eye for his sister!!! Too cool! Thanks Again Yammie
Appreciate the info. I've been looking into the 450 since the ninja 400 can't seem to ever be available in AZ with abs. CFmoto is winning for me.
Got mine last month, love it so far, already put 2k miles on it.
Excellent choice in bikes
I've never had abs. Riding motocross to street bikes. Never had a problem. Just ease into the breaking it's not hard to get used to
I saw a 650 cfmoto today and the front fork chrome was massively rusted. Must be the Chineseum they make it from. Beware - these things will have zero resale once people work out the quality issues.
I think this will be great for the bike world! Good video.! Thanks.
bought a 2022 650NK for $6K OTD and have loved it. Ridden my friends’ R6 and mt-07, etc. Loved those bikes and yes, they were BETTER but they were also almost 3-4K more OTD and idk if they were thaaaat much better. Part availability is okay but most parts that fit kawasakis for the 650 line up work since they’re pretty similar stuff and the 700 bikes just use KTM stuff so those fit pretty well too
I still love my 450ss after having for for over 5k miles in 3 months! Absolutely insane!!!
I consider buying one myself. What is your opinion now, nearly a year later ?
@@solidXsnake4lifeBut big brands like yoshimura exhaust have an after market exhaust for 450ss doesn't really sound good in my own opinion but it's good because it improves performance and trusted brand you can also buy Vandemon full system exhaust dual exhaust for cfmoto 450ss around $1200 USD no tune required as long as you have the db killer/silencer 100db w db killer / 104 without db killer
The only reason to hate CFmoto upfront is the fact that it doesn’t carry prestige with the badge yet. It’s more satisfying though to support the underdog and and still be there when they take over
450NK is already on sale. A 675cc three-cylinder motorcycle and a 1000cc V4 will be unveiled soon.
Looks amazing, definitely would buy it
Yes yes and yes on CF Moto. I’ve bought three CFMOTO’s for about the same amount I paid for my 22 ZX10R and I am loving them.
More V4s please!!!!
I see what you did there- several times, and nice seed planted at the end. They will get it soon! 😊
Great video. The editing was crazy great. CFMoto should try to get their current bikes moving before dumping billions into upper scale wish bikes. Even the major brands are having to cut back models and consolidate engine types. But it is fun to dream.
Well, if KTM won't make a street legal RC890R, and CFmoto comes out with something like the 450ss, but with a Duke 890R engine, I'd 100% buy it.
I wouldn't mind it at all, if it's at competitive price point.
It’s competitive because it’s built with slave labor. If you want to support that go ahead…..
Hilarious intro... 🤣🤣🤣 - Sometimes a motorcycle is actually just a motorcycle.
I love the 450SS and can't wait to see what's next from CFMoto. I currently have a Ninja 400 and hope to add a mid sized sport bike and would love to see a CFMoto 700SS.
Go ride a GSXR
Most likely the 675SS and 675NK with three cylinders, and the 1000cc V2
CFMOTO has declared three cylinder 675sr and four cylinder 500sr in their CFMOTO day, egineering bike already explosed .
Yes, please more CFMOTO content. The bikes are quality, fun, and fill the gap left between the gentleman's agreements among the Japanese brands. Bring to me the 800NK. I am ready.
I have CF Moto 300NK, and given my small experience, I can point out only minor negatives:
1) Handlebar vibration could be a bit less
2) Engine cooling system is weaker than desired (affects only slow speed riding in hot weather, 85 °F), but no overheating
3) Fork rebound is a bit harsher than desired
4) Seat could be a bit softer
5) Speedometer shows ~2 mph more than the real speed
Other than that, it seems to be reliable machine (+2 years warranty), well-built, and fully suits me as a beginner bike.
Main competition are India-built Yamaha bikes plus Indian brand Bajaj.
Isn't the +2mph a legal requirement for manufacturing?.
@@TheLiamis Not sure. But it is annoying to see at lower speeds, when it makes a difference. We use km/h in Azerbaijan, so it is like 9 on speedo vs 5 real. I had a Japanese car which lied about 1.2 mph , that was tolerable, 2.5 mph is not.
@@Murad.bn2 I think it's required to prevent people going over the limit. As I always say though the speed limit is the grip on my tyre's.
You bought a budget bike = got what you paid for
@@ZANGI3F Completely agree. I am generally happy with it, worth the money. As for major brands, we don't have dealers in our small country, so that all those bikes come either used, or for crazy prices (like Z650 2023 for $16300).
I've been vlogging my experience with the new KTM 790 Adventure produced by CF Moto (not coming to the states!). It's done everything I've asked for it so far without no obvious downsides 700 miles in. The gears have been missing slightly so keeping an eye on that, but I think I just need to dial in my clutch a little. As with Royal Enfield, at the very least it puts the wind up the major players, which will result in them being more competitive in turn - win/win for the consumer.
Still riding my Benelli tnt 2016 model 5 days a week, 60 km per day. Still going good , 60 thousand in now.
Currently own an mt10, had it for about 3 years now, love it to bits, the sound, the character, the handling, overall magnificent bike.
But when the 450sr got released in Australia I had to take one for a test ride.
When I got off of it I had the biggest smile I've had in years of riding, it was the most fun I've had riding in years.
It handles great, looks awesome and sounds fucking amazing for a stock exhaust.
My wife has a ninja 400, I occasionally ride it from time to time, it's a solid bike, but the 450sr is so much better in every regard.
I can't talk about reliability as I havnt had one for an extended time period, but if they tick that box, the big 4 need to check themselves.
Good competition is needed to keep the market in check and balanced.
I for one would love to see a 1000cc from cf moto.
reliability is all they need to prove and they are in the game
Triumph speed 400 has already been launched in India and it costs less than $3600
It really is an awesome bike
Waiting for scrambler 400x to replace my Svartpilen but not a single dealership in 500km radius in NI.
Had a 250 2strokexing fu motor cycle and it was a tank!
Maybe only did 50 mph but was fun to ride!
Was in Shanghai at the time 1989.
Please more videos about CFMOTO because it seems they are bringing some cool stuff and im not sure what to think about the quality so far... Aldo they seem Fun and specially for the price, they bring a lot of tech!😄
Honestly I'm all for Chinese motorcycles.
I think the Chinese manufacturing gets a bad rap.. they make everything. Including high end quality stuff. Just cheap us companies wanting to pay bottom dollar that purchase the cheapest stuff.
CFMoto is taking a page from the launch of the Hyundai/Kia automotive twins in the US. Build with quality, provide great pricing and offer a generous warranty...a proven strategy for entering a competitive market. Now we sit and wait to see if they are as good as they appear.
I started with a QJ motor 125cc, a Keeway RKF, in some countries it’s sold as Benelli. It sucks, after 15 days of ownership it was dead due to an electronic problem, then it broke the front fender, after that electronics got busted again, then the led cruising light just stopped working, after that the front fender got broken again. it also just shuts down while idling, the dealership was never able to fix it. All of that in 1 year and a half and around 15k km.
You're a goober😂😂😂😂
Thanks for letting me know about a quality, American-made product in ASV!
An RSV4 for the price of a Ninja 600......YES PLEASE!!!
P.S. LEAVE THOSE OH SO SWEET DUAL SC CRT SHORTIES UNDER THE TAIL AS WELL!!! DANG THAT EXHAUST LOOKS SPICY!!!!!!!
Welcome ❤
I’m a mechanic who builds and works on CFMOTO products, from ATVs, SxS, to street bikes they make good products
KOVE just launched 450RR this year which is faster than zx-4rr,
Cfmoto is currently making a 100hp 675cc three-cylinder engine, it will to the market in a year or two
And Zotes too is making a 600-700cc three-cylinder engine
Things are getting really exciting lately
Are we ever gonna see a 450SS track test?
My friend has had nothing but problems with his KTM 390... he is trading it in on an MT 07.
What year is his KTM390?

Am I the only one that picked up on "rustle some feathers" 🧐?!?
Papa Yam it's 'Ruffle'! 😂 Your not rounding them up and stealing the feathers! 🤣
CFMoto pricing in the US makes it a little harder to pick if a CLX700 is 7k and a MT07 is 8k... But here in Australia, the price mark is tempting, the CLX700 is $8,500 whereas the MT07 is $14,500. I'm stuck between buying a Suzuki SV650 at $11k or a CLX700. My head tells me to get the SV, but my heart based on the styling and features is considering a CLX700.
My CL-X 700 Heritage was $6,400 out the door here in the US. Granted, I bought the 2022 instead of the 2023.
The cheapest MT-07 I could find online (excluding Facebook) was a new 2023 for $6,900 before tax, title, registration, and dealer fees. It would also require me to drive over 400km to pick it up.
Clx700 sports are $4000 at dealers by me
@rileyrat13 400km is like 2 hours riding..?
There we are
Yo King-Diddy Yam, thanks for the additional review on CFMoto. I’m curious if you’ve seen several of the big dealers here in Texas offering another China bike brand Kayo? They’re in the dirt bike market with several different models and I think they have some ties to KTM & Honda. Wondering if you could offer some research insight?
Waitin for a good aftermarket before I start getting into CFMoto.
CF Moto sure is different compared to other Chinese manufacturers (We have an abundance of Chinese made bikes here in the Philippines) from build quality alone, the difference vs QJ motor is far off.
And qj is priced higher. 263k 450nk vs 288k srk400. 😂
..and its QJ's are still less well made@@mastergogoy6166
Oooh Imagine a KTM V4 sport bike. Thats would be awesome. Hopefully the rumored KTM RC 990 turns out good.
My first bike was a 1978 400 hondamatic Hawk... mt SECOND bike was a 193 Yamaha Vmax.... I had to RELEARN how to ride once I got that 156 HP BEAST
I bought a svapillan cuz of you
Don't blame him now.
I’m loving it
Anyone ever notice that WWII’s Axis nations (Japan, Germany, and Italy) make the best performance motorcycles??
Some of the worlds best engineers were on the axis side during WW2 so it. Makes sense
I never noticed that before. Interesting.
@@domesticrifles4068 - to a degree, you are correct… Japan and Germany certainly had excellent engineers, but constrained by wartime logistics/materials, their ‘progress’ throughout the war shifted to efficiency/apt prioritizing to deal with constantly shifting availability of resources…. Most significantly, I can imagine a new sense of freedom/opportunity post-war to flex their engineering skills and visions…
But Italy’s military engineering was a significant factor in Mussolini’s demise….
@@SongJLikes Dunno if Ferrari or Lamborghini ever got into the tank building business like most other auto makers of the day, but if they did their tanks would probably be very fast, very unreliable, and impossible to repair in the field.
Good observation. I may be wrong but I think it has more to do with the economic reconstruction efforts made by the world leaders. Ironically, this is also the main reason why China has the manufacturing and shipping competitive edge over developed countries. It’s actually cheaper to ship an item from China to your front door than it is to ship it across the US.
I love my 700 CL-X. In January 2024 CFMOTO at 51% and Yamaha at 49% announced a partnership to manufacture and sell bikes in China. I can't wait to see what comes next.
Well when some of the bikes are actually engines from other manufacturers then i dont see them taking over. Smart good choice for newbies who have an interest in bikes
There is a reasonable chance that I'll own a CFMOTO at some point. They have really lifted their game. A decade ago I never would have said this.
🍦 not many we can trust I see…….
Shhh, this is the secret handshake "love you guys"
when you talk shit about pooh, not only your Huawei will explode, even your cfmoto explodes
i work as a cfmoto technician, and trust me. they can build a good machine if they want to, but they dont give a shit and are just dishing these powersport vehicles out for a huge profit, reliability is low and build quality is even lower
anyone that knows anyone who has commercial dealing with China 'production' knows this
my knowledge are oilfield fittings
as soon as the USA factory rep leaves the factory, the quality goes to 💩
hence, most oilfield castings/fittings from China are outlawed
thats exactly it, the quality of the casting are very poor and unpolished. such little care has went into the production of the units that bolt holes are RARE if they line up. SOO much stretching and bending trying to get things to line up, and that just the start. service manuals and instructions hardly make sense or have the CORRECT info in the manuals. the problems are never ending... again they are flooding the market with poor quality and just turning a huge profit. long story short YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET, hence the prices are so cheap in comparison to other brands. @@joeblow5037
I wish them luck. Sounds like a good machine for the Isle of Man.
I have a cfmoto 650GT which is the sport/touring variant and i will say at lower revs it can feel a bit off at points but when you get them up it feels perfectly fine especially consdering they have undercut other 650cc bikes by about 2000 give or take. i will say the owners manual is full of spelling and grammar errors which is a tad worrying since you do wonder if they skipped on a proof reading what else was skipped on.
man i just want them to make a 600cc bike

ah but not a parallel twin ;/@@vilikolehmainen2691
@@user-ez9rw5lm5wDo you know anything about the 1250nk model? or is it just a rumor?
@@javierreyes4748 There have been rumors of 1250NK before, but there has been little news recently. I personally think that CFMOTO will focus on the research and development of 1000cc V4 for the time being, because they will rely on this 1000 SR to compete in WSBK. If everything goes well and gets a good response, they are expected to launch 1000NK soon, and there is no more news about 1250nk. .

I am looking into buying some levers and my question to more expirienced people should i buy the asv levers or are there any manufacturers of levers that are better?
CFMoto has been in Canada for YEARS, trust me, they’re junk LOL
The only people that praise them, are the people that couldn’t afford a proper machine and had to “settle” for a CFMoto.
I bought a cf moto papio and it's very well priced. It has 40 miles on it and it's been dropped a few time. I only snapped the driver side foot peg and the gear sift lever.

a KTM engine with chinese manufacturing?
Sounds like a formula for reliability 🍦
That is litterally where KTM is at right now. Engine design and longevity itself is largely very good but let down by hit or miss QC with sub par assembly, typically coolant/oil leaks etc. Some have no problems and won't hear a bad thing said about KTM while others do.... and end up getting pissed off waiting weeks/months for replacement parts which often leads them to switch brands.
I suspect a CFMoto branded KTM, if we can call it that?, would likely be a similar ownership prospect.
My father in-law purchased a new CFmoto 600cc atv & it has performed well over rough terrain. $6k U.S. new was a big factor when considering a new ATV.
I have an ibex 800mt, let me say it, i freaking love it. It's caoable on road and off-road (given a capable rider). Very comfy, has heated handles and Seat and the 95hp feel very nice. The screen looks and works great, the only issue i have is whit the app, which is sometimes buggy but honestly, I've had that same issue with any motorcycle/car app, they just suck hahahaha
Ngl that gray red bike looks sexy as hell but I don’t think I’m gonna be the first one to take a chance on it
I rode my buddies cf moto 450 from the dealer to his house, all I can say was that it wasn’t satisfying on the performance aspect. Maybe it’s because I’m used to Bigger displacement bikes.
