An interesting faux pas at 1:29 has the film situating Brattleboro on the banks of the Connecticut River (correct), at the boundary between Vermont and Connecticut (very much incorrect). The Connecticut River is, of course, the boundary between Vermont and New Hampshire. Vermont and Connecticut are separated by a rather significant slice of real estate called Massachusetts. One has to wonder how many credulous school children were led astray on test day by this film!
yeah pretty silly and Bennington being the first town charted west of the Connecticut river? yeah no that's not factual also. Northampton,MA, and Harford are west of the Connecticut river.
While the film is certainly dated: the days when cows outnumbered people in VT are long gone, much of the state is unchanged. This film really captures the beauty that is the Green Mountain State.
If only vermont was like this today
Wow this is beautiful
Wait, so is someone trying to take away Delaware from us?
