Haven’t even played MK1 in a minute but still seems like a good detailed analysis video
And just like Omniman his numbers will diminish and no one will even remeber he's even on the roster. I swear these guest characters are just seasonal.
The hype is always there day 1. Then people just see they don’t play to their playstyle. I love peacemaker but he doesn’t feel good to play (to me personally) it’s all about how they play in my opinion
I still use him. The biggest was the forcefield however i just had to adjust mygame play . Im still smashing with him.. need to work harder for the dubs.. he fun to play with imo .

Not my main but this was expected like any other characters or DLC in the game same with Ermac soon
I didn't see omni man get his damage nerfed. And ermac is a huge skill gap character. Being execution heavy and no 50/50s barely able to touch 50% with 2 or 3 bars and 2 kameos. That's alot of resources compared to what peacemaker could do for less. His Rush down is great cause of cancels but the damage adds up to every other character. Look at li meis damage 1 bar and either 1 or 2 kameos 480 to 530 damage yet she hasn't been touched I doubt ermac will honestly

Honestly played a bit of Peacemaker pre patch and honestly, it doesn't change anything, damage is more or less the same, combos that were getting me 35%-36% are now getting me 32%-35%. Forcefield I honestly forgot he had as I never used it (it is good but It just doesn't fit in my playstyle
Must not have been optimal. My 1 bar 1 kameo combo was doing 460. Now does 390. That's a 70 damage drop. And his corner combos roughly 60 damage less. And all my optimal routes do 60 less on each combo. Kinda rough. And this is the second time they nerfed his damage. Kinda funny he isn't allowed to do 40% plus with 1 bar and 1 kameo but others are and he had like no 50/50s. Zoning needed nerfed bad but not necessarily his damage when everyone else gets roughly that's damage and has 50/50 mixup I didn't main him but it's sad for sure and unfair to the character.

I also main peacemaker. The nerf isn't that big of a deal lol. He still does 30% with 1 bar lol

To be honest I enjoy playing Peacemaker just because of John Cena regardless buffed or nerfed just like Negan from Tekken 7 although Reiko stuff was important and Force Field shorter cooldown tenure
What a classic mk1 patch, the most annoying thing about peacemaker is his zoning

@@onestep yes definitely. Elcucuy, unjust, and Sooneo all made top 8 with him on nerf day. He's still very strong, just gotta use your brain now
Ermac is next. 🤣🤣 Nerfs will come to bring his damage down.
Peacemaker is my second main so as a dude who plays peacemaker alot, this update doesn't really mean much lol. I mean SURE our damage is nerfed but Peacemaker still gets 30% 1 bar, still has crazy mix ups, still has a fullscreen armour move, still has a move that can help get up close to the opponent that is SAFE ON BLOCK, has a pretty long ranged and fast poke, has amazing zoning and even tho force field is nerfed, you only need to tank like 1 projectile before using anti gravity or something else to close the gap and punish the opponent. Peacemaker is still top tier guys
Ya he’s def still really good. He just lost some damages and force field isn’t as effective. Thats about it 😅

So if you cry better cry...people good with him still play him you just have to adjust your gameplay unlike spamming force field and spamming gunshots and eagle with back dash and doing mindless damage. Noobs are crying because they cant win with him anymore. Noob
