I'm sorry but you were too nice, idk if you get paid by NRS or get invited to their events but my biggest problem is that it does not feel like a fully developed game but an incomplete rushed mess and I will not praise these companies for mediocrity and handing us garbage that just shows them they can make any game and people will love it which is sadly what is happening with this game.
i play with friends apex legends from time to time and they just lost everything with new update, 1 friend lost 4 heirlooms and he said 1 heirloom costed 150 dollars so when mk charges me 10 for a skin i am fine with it, but the future of gaming doesn't look good too much money and not enough passion and love
It's insane how this myth has infiltrated every part of the fandom that 1000 crystals is "10 dollars"

I think mk1 is extremely enjoyable, i haven't enjoyed gameplay like this since mk9, but i do hate all these insane micro transactions in it. Feels like WB really sunk their claws into mk this time around, and it just sucks to see it happen to a franchise i loved since i started gaming.
It’s def a new amazing addition to the franchise!
@@onestep i like it now that i have it along with mk9 and mk11 but part of me thinks maybe the franchise should have ended at armageddon as thats the best game in the franchise in my opinion and it would deffo be a good game to finish on
Invasions is the worst game mode in the history of bad game modes.

would make sense in a free to play game but the fact that its in a paid game is insulting

Everything was a last minute addition. I fully believe this was meant to launch this month, just like EVERY previous NRS game launched in the spring, and a dumbass WB exec in an earnings call opened his dumb mouth and then made them rush it out
@@ChaosBorg It was probably gonna launch around the time Suicide Squad did. Since Suicide Squad got delayed to the following year, they had to push forward MK1 to meet their "2 AAA games a year" quota.
Maybe they’ll add more gear options in the future
For the most part I agree with the thread but I still do enjoy MK1. For some reason the thing bugging me lately is smokes grunting when moving or getting hit. It’s so damn loud compared to anything happening in the match 😭

Even though I mostly play online, they really need to add at least one offline mode that's actually fun like Motor Kombat or something
I don't think Invasions is the worst thing ever but it's just not fun

11:30 I think they meant the Intros and Outros. Mortal kombat 11 had multiple intro and outro (full body)animations to choose from. MK1 characters have 1 intro (chest up clash) and 1 outro

Honestly I was really bummed when I saw they had no friendships, Babalitys or stage fatalities
Such a lack of content in this game it suck…..

Give us sexy pallets!!!!!! That was my first realization about the game. It’s not the same MK that I grew up with in the 90’s & 00’s without them. The vast majority of players are male, and besides that it’s not like the ladies that do play would care either. Give them more shirtless men to look at besides Liu Kang and Geras…

Shao got done dirty in the brutality department none of his brutalities combo and 2 of his brutalities are grabs if they duck or jump I'm getting hit with a 40 to 50 damage combo🤣

Has it been that bad? I have not played in a while, but not due to any specific dislike other than not being a big fan of kameos.
I can't believe so many people are complaining about "sexy skins". Always figured that was more of a DoA or street fighter thing. I never played MK because it was "sexy"

I truly believe the main downfall is the netcode. Yes the monetization is bad but to be on a hard wired connection and still be struggling with matches is my main reason i can do without. Also after thing you laid out you can clearly see they rushed this game and focus more on monetization content

I've been a big supporter of this release..
Tha gameplay, air combat, combos, kameos, roster, potential, presentation & graphics, character kits, DLC characters frum out of universe brought in have been great.. . ..
I just find disinterest in.. tha competition, or moreso, their lack of creativity &/or willingness to try something different.
I want SO bad to stay on, but I keep find'n disappoint'n matches.. not that they're not good (most times), I just find myself fight'n tha EXACT same person too often.
I SWEAR, it's not tha game (to me).. more an unwillingness to experiment.

I thought I was done with MK1. I beat the Baraka/Cyrax thing into the ground. Got to God, but couldn't seem to get to Eldergod. I was starting to lose interest, and went to Tekken 8 as my primary videogame. Then I discovered Ashrah/Janet, started nailing a bunch of 50% combos that I discovered without the combo tutorials built into the game, and completely rediscovered a new love for MK1.
This game ROCKS.

@@onestep Hatred for this game is just a funky trend. The FGC has been doing this to MK since I was a little kid. It's nothing new. It was just super loud this time.
The uniquely named relics like "strangling warriors scalp of doom" are auto generated. The fix is super easy and just requires a ruleset to implemented where two conflicting bonuses won't be.

Megan Fox is the best voice actress in the game! Who says she's bad? Must be just you. Way better than Rhonda Rousey!
She's also said she's a huge fan of the game.
While I find it fun to play, it does feel lacking in single player content compared to SF6 or T8. Also characters while fun, feel way to restricted. Wish they would open up the characters more, like how nuts Peacemaker is, THAT should be the standard for all characters. That and extreme lack of communication and radio silence for months on end from the dev team
Let hope they add some single player content in the future
wonder if invasion mode would have worked better if it was similar to Tekken Force mode were its still the same fighting gameplay mechanics except it works like a beat'em up adventure. this would allow for their little goofy gameplay elements they use in invasion mode. or just make us some fun MK themed mini games like in the old 3D era games.

For me, one of the biggest flaw of this game is the absence of certain playable characters ex.jax,kano,sonya,kotal kahn,erron black,tremor,triborg,goro,darrius,ferre torr,
Who even is Darrius? Haven't been in mkx haven't been in mk11, first time I see him is mk1

I just wana see a non kameo mode, I’m just a casual player and it’s hard to keep up with all the “who needs who” to make the fighter better, plus it really seems like it’s just the same 5 kameos being used

I disagree, the extra colors in Mk11 stripped the characters of their identity. Why the hell can you play as purple scorpion?
@SirChangesAlot I meant like they give us designs and we have like a color picker for each of the designs, no predetermined colors

I remember being hyped for this hyped but after seeing the problems MK1 has been dealing with, it was a letdown. As a PC gamer, only mods are making me interested.

Peacemaker is not nearly as much as an issue as Kenshi. Can't tell you how many times I'm winning a match, then they pull Sento out and I instantly die. It's like a blocking simulator that lasts the entire damn round! WTF were they thinking making a character than can double team you and for that damn long?!! They're so incompetent it's frustrating.
Ya Kenshi can be rough for sure
just have to lab armor gaps etc sento 2 and sento 4 both have gaps sento stance strings have gaps once you know how to get out kenshi is easy to fight

Mk1 is fun I play tekken and tekken dont have combos like mk1 but customization is superior.

Yea idk what happened why we went from badass sexy skins (on everyone not just the ladies) it’s not a kid game why are the outfits kid friendly… the paid fatality’s I didn’t mind they were seasonal not stage or special character and you bought one for all 26+ characters so it seemed fine to me

Kameos being forced should be on the thread , too much of a gimmick
Being forced? It’s part of the game of course it’s “forced”. Variations in MKX was “forced”. Spells and magic in Skyrim is “forced”. Rage sets in tekkken 8 are “forced”. Don’t like it? Don’t play it
@onestep variations is not the same as assist moves. Assist moves required timing with the other character jumping in and are limited to having to wait fill back up
@onestep yes its forced , I can't play the game without assists which thar wasn't the case with all the other mk before mk1, more than a decade ago with mk9, In that game we can do all 3 , 1v1 , 1v1 with assists, and 2v2. With all Characters being fully playable or used as assists. Funny enough variations were not forced. Both in mkx and mk11 they could be completely removed 🤷
I don’t think the gameplay is fun. Kameos are poorly implemented the attacks have zero weight to them and characters lack tools

Wrong. Nothing will ever beat the blood, character designs, brutalities, finishers like this game. Even with the minor issues, I still love this game and dropped SF6, abs Tekken. Just not my vibe.
