That is how I have done my scrapbooking for years: more like embellished photo albums using the divided page protectors. I use one of the 4x6 pockets to do a “layout” albeit on a much smaller scale. I throw in a full 12x12 page layout when the pictures or event inspire me to do a full layout. I just don’t label it by week.
I love this idea of not documenting every week. I did memory planning for two years and loved it but want to try something different. Thank you for sharing😊
I love the 9x12 size. I think it’s ideal for this kind of project. KP always made the best alpha stickers for PL! So many of each letter and the perfect size.

I decided to try it out, so far so good. I use Simple Stories 6x8 since its under $15 bucks and I have tons of page protectors as well.
There's something 5o be said about being flexible enough to realize what does and does not work for you. Beautiful results. Can't believe that your baby girl is now 12! Remembering my 12-year old conversations with my mom (over 50 years ago)...they definitely ARE different. It's great that you are journaling your time together. She will treasure those books. I've been watching since she was little. Where have the years gone?!
I agree! I had to stop stressing about this hobby and just have fun. And yes...my girly has gotten so big! She's my height now...which doesn't take much because I'm a shorty!
This is a great video! The layout is too!:) Does the adhesive show through the vellum? Have you tried printing your journaling onto clear sticker paper? I struggle with both.
Yes, I use sticker paper on occasion. For the most part, I've had no issues. As far as vellum goes, I use Hero Arts Layering Vellum and adhere it with Tombo Mono Permanent Adhesive. There is specialty adhesive for vellum as well!
I also use 9x12 and that die. My life is boring to do a weekly so I'm doing monthly. Kids are all grown 7 out of the house. My husband and I are still working so not much going on around here...lol

Great idea! I have been giving myself permission to skip weeks also! I am struggling with letting my 12x12 size go.

I use the same size pocket pages. I have been completing PL for years, but changed to monthly a few years back.
Monthly seems a lot more manageable. 😀
