    We used powdered asorbic acid in the grain at milking to help support the immune system as well.

      Delci • A Life of Heritage...thank you, Delci😇😇...I’m using Colloidal Silver, and Coconut Oil mixed with Turmeric. The biggest healing remedy I’m using is PRAYER👍🏻👍🏻 I only have it on one goat. Praying that’s it, and it doesn’t get any worse. Annie, the goat who has it, only has it around her front lips. She’s eating well, and doing everything a goat does.
      She doesn’t like to be milked🙄🙄 she has her 9 week old doeling with her. If she gets to crazy on me I put her back in with her kid, and say go for it😁Have a great Sunday ... blessings 🥰🙏🏻❤️😇Oh, and those goats better listen, lol🌻🙏🏻🌻

    Is the milk safe to consume if the goat has staph?

    I just discovered my doe, not in milk, has scabs and bumps all over her udder and teats. I used betadine wash and then rinsed. After that, I put coconut oil with tea tree. I don't think there are any that have any pus in them, but just dried up patchy sections and spots. It isn't very wet here in Arkansas, but it is humid.

    Hello! I have a goat that just started with staph she has one little pustule at the top of her teat. Is it ok if the baby is still nursing from her? He usually is on the opposite side but every once in a while he will nurse on that side.

    I had a breeder say that my goat going uneven was probably due to staph and they recommended Today teat infusions...I did it and not udder is turning black 😩 Any suggestions or is this a side effect of the teat infusions?

    Is it safe to drink the milk if they have staph?

    • @DelcifromALifeofHeritage
      @DelcifromALifeofHeritage  3 роки тому

      That's a good question! I think it really depends on how bad it is. Just remember, it can be passed on to you. So be safe. Use gloves, clean it up really well, follow the directions in the video, milk the goat last to not spread it to the other goats. And it really is up to you, if you can or want to drink the milk. The bacteria is in the puss. If there's a lot of oozing, maybe not. If it's all closed up and not too bad, then maybe 😊 I hope that's not too vague.
