Very sorry, I had poor time management skills this morning and was unable to get Round 2 done in time of an appointment, so that's on me, but I will be back after the combine with at minimum of a 4 Round Mock Draft!
I'm glad someone else views Kool-Aid, Turner, and Odunze similarly to me. I believe people just got prospect fatigue on Kool-Aid. Some mock drafts have him falling to the end of the first round. I think he is the most complete corner in the draft. He might not be the fastest, but his mechanics and game iq are great. I like Turner a lot, but I can't put him over Latu and Verse, they are much more complete than him. Also, when I watch Turner, some games it seems like his effort/speed is just not there. But other games he's quick, decisive, and disruptive; he's a confusing prospect to me. Odunze is a great contested catcher. I don't know if it was Washington's scheme or not. But I have not seen Odunze play with a deep bag of routs. Also, he doesn't get separation very well, and I think that's going to hurt him at the next level. Odunze is a mystery to me.
You basically took the words right outta my mouth. I think Kool-Aid is just boring to people. Not the flashiest corner, but just knows the ins and outs of playing the position. Also I think people are weighing the Texas tape way to highly on him! I saw the same thing with Turner and Odunze. Turner shows flashes of brilliance, but it really is so inconsistent that I wonder are you taking the first 2 years developing the guy.
I really am banging the gavel for the GMEN to move down and adding a 2025 1st plus a Day 3 this year. Makes all the sense in the world. Protect Danny since you have him for a year. Like the value hear for the Bengals to snag Latham and he could fall due to other teams needs. Loving the tools of Adonai too buddy! Giants in Round 2 for me is interior line (Frazier, Haynes or Beebe) then the best Edge I can snag out of Sweat, Robinson, Dorlus or Issac.
I really want them to as well! It’s a real challenge for me to take a QB this draft just with the contract situation of Danny Devito, I mean Dimes, but watch out for Mitchell!! If he can drop to the 2nd for the GMEN, that would be insane seems like they always let one guy fall!
Yeah Zac and Maye seem like a perfect mesh. Maye can attack the middle field at a high level, but man I think there gonna be one of the more interesting and fun teams to watch on draft night.
The Texans will resign Jonathan Greenard. That is why they should take Jer’Zhan Newton and Byron Murphy to improve the interior defensive line. As a Houstonian, I would never select a guy with the first name Dallas. 🤮🤮🤮
I agree, because there's not a lot of great qb prospects coming out of college next year, the estimated number 1 qb in the draft class next year is shedur sanders💀 if may is on the board we definitely should take him at 3.
While I do think taking Maye is probably the right choice their, I do think next years QB class could be good. It’s just way too early to tell. But gotcha, good thing I’m not the Pats GM 😂
Funny how you put Suamataia to Baltimore because that was a fit I was actually thinking about earlier today lol. I understand your reasoning for Guyton, but with Mitchell on the board I personally strongly disagree. I get the idea for a developmental tackle but the case can be made that the packers can grab a developmental guy day 2 and day 3. I think developmental tackle/G would make more sense as a day 2/3 option. I know GB does like their developmental guys but I think there’s quite a handful of dev guys in that day 2 range. Maybe Fauntanu, Barton, Morgan, or Suamataia falls to 41 or maybe even 58 I just think the value is better there, especially with Mitchell still on the board. I think I also disagree with you fundamentally on Guyton which is fine, because I’m not as high as a lot of people are on these tackles and I’m bound to be wrong on someone🤣, but to your point if the developmental upside is so immense it’s hard to see him falling to GB at 25.
Dude I have been thinking about that one quite a bit since doing it, and I have to agree with you. Just doesn’t make much sense to pass on Mitchell if he’s there. I think Guyton range of possibilities compared to Mitchell are just too great of a risk to not take Mitchell. Like I would be shocked if Mitchell is a straight bust. Guyton very well could be a big miss. I am one of those that is very high on him and one of the reasons I put him to GB is because of the track record of developing raw players, but the problem with this is that leaves a potential void/weaknesses at potentially guard early on since he needs to sit. Nonetheless, thanks for the feedback🤙
I can get that with Mitchell vs Guyton. You could say Mitchell is the safer pick but then you could say Guyton is the higher ceiling. It goes back to me just having no idea or sense of direction for what GB wants to do round 1 this year. Even last year I felt there was guidance or rough idea, but at 25 I’m just at a loss for what the plan is. They could take any position aside from QB TE RB and K and I would not be overly shocked.
@josephlaeger6473 😂 🤣😂 they might take McCarthy to develop behind Love for 10 years lol… but yeah man Gutey always keeps yah on the toes like Muhammad Ali. Another thing when your picking at 25, it makes it that much more unpredictable cause it’s very hard to gauge which positions/players fall.
I know! Which is what makes the draft process so damn stressful for me lmao. That really is the tricky part because who knows who falls and who goes early, because we all know someone is dropping and we know someone is rising above where they were predicted. Gonna watch Patrick Paul go at like 16 or something crazy like that🤣.
@josephlaeger6473 😆 yeah or Trevin Wallace goes in the first, saw that one from Chad Reuter! But you already know there’s gonna be a Jack Campbell/Jahmyr GIbbs surpriser or two!
Omg Rome falls to 16, you couldn’t just let him fall one more to duval? Lol. Seriously though I’m a little low on Brian Thomas. He just doesn’t play big, he doesn’t go get the ball to me, just a lot of body-catches. I’d rather Coleman personally. The way you did the beginning of the draft makes a ton of sense.
That does scary me a bit as well. I think Coleman and Mitchell have higher floors. Thomas could be an absolute superstar or he could be a miss big time. He might be one of the more polarizing players in the class and I think the combine will be huge for him how he looks with his movement in and out of breaks and hands. But man, that was so close! I should of traded in front of them lol!
Drake in Atlanta is like a dream fit imo!! Zac Robinson and Maye seems like a perfect tandem for hopefully a long time as long as he doesn’t get a HC job elsewhere!
Yeah man I just see it as one of those fits where Caleb and Harris might of already talked behind the scenes and he was like yo, I wanna play for you guys, but can I get Kliff as the OC. You never know, but I like the little conspiracy theories sometimes 😂
@@GSLINGFOOTBALL I hope he goes to the bears because I think it would be fun to see a competitive packers bears rivalry and the bears haven’t had a franchise qb in a while so seeing Williams go there would be fun. But him going to the commanders would be fun to see as well. Who out of all the teams that need a qb have the best system and playbook for Caleb Williams?
I am glad I don’t have to make that decision for the Bears lol, that’s a really tough one!! Kliff knowing Williams definitely helps, granted I’m not super confident in Kliff just yet as a play caller. I think Shane Waldron could get the best outta Williams. That Bears/Pack rivalry could be one of the better ones for the next decade.
As a Falcons fan I’m not sure if I want to trade up that high, trading away our next year first round pick to get Maye, If the Pats don’t want him they won’t take him, and they Cards could need a Wr so we can’t trade up with the Chargers for the 5th pick if it goes this way
I did think of that as well, but I also would have give up more if he fell to 5 because team like Minnesota, Denver would of come into play for me, so either way, I felt like that’s what I was comfortable with, no more tho than a 1st, maybe one of the 3rd’s because I feel good about the coaching staff, but that’s max.
@@GSLINGFOOTBALL I agree, I could see the falcons giving a 2nd if they are desperate enough for a qb, taking fuaga or even jc and then wr and qb in the 2nd could work
Forsure, and I think they could get at minimum a 3rd in exchange to move up 5 spots. Falcons have 2 3rds so I would imagine the Pats would want at least 1 of them!

Maye to Atl is a good scheme fit. I'm a defensive football guy. If Atl goes QB via trade or FA. I'd love Jared Verse in Morris' scheme

😂 I kinda didn’t even think about the name, but that’s funny! It definitely depends how the board falls and or who they resign.
If Maye is on the board and the Patriots actually trade down id be so pissed. Id want Mayo and the GM fired immediately

@@GSLINGFOOTBALLyes good thing horrible job
You have to add Thomas Drew and Kevin Chatman to the list to even consider it legitimate. Both WR’s have 4.3 40 speed and great hands.
Okay will do! I have not watched either, so I’ll put them on the watchlist!
As a Bengals fan, thank you for wanting to protect Joe Burrow lol Well done draft!
😂 yeah gonna try my best to help keep him playing through the season!! Also I think Duke will prioritize it this season.

Bears arent moving for less than next years 1st minimum, plus probably this rear 2 and next years 3
Not to 2, that would be a crazy high price imo. Unless they want to move past 2, I don’t see the price more than a 2nd.
Caleb Williams is from Washington so I think it’s a good fit

If the Vikings don't re-sign Cousins there is a pretty good chance that they will be the one's picking at 3 not Atlanta
I do think the likelihood is they resign him, but definitely if they don’t, they will be making a move no doubt!
As you know Arnold would be 5th on the depth chart for the Eagles
😂 yeah I’m okay with that there secondary was so bad, I’m betting he starts
Not a chance.@@GSLINGFOOTBALL
@marinasands4319 Arnold is a really good prospect, might need time getting better in off coverage, but I easily see him winning the job at some point.
If the pats trade down that far I rather them just draft a tackle
I actually did think about, not a bad idea. I wanted whatever draft capital I could get, which is why I did it.
